Are there any scents that make you happy?

I was sitting in class this morning taking my Medical Terminology final(whew, that's over) and I started feeling happy for some reason. Then I noticed they were cutting the grass right outside.

I love the smell of cut grass. It reminds me of when I was in grade school. The last couple of months of school they would keep the windows open and I could smell the grass and it made me happy because the weather was warm and summer break was almost there.

Anyone else have any smells that make them happy or nostalgic?

I used to do Aromatherapy. Geranium is excellent for depression. It also reminds me of being a little girl and going to the flower shop to be with my mom when she worked there.

Yeah, we had magnolias in our neighborhood in South Carolina, and an azalea bush in the front yard.

It was nice, but I wouldn't go back. The mindset down there has become completely alien to me, and it would seem like trying to chase the past.

yeah, i 'm a little worried about the mindset myself...

but i'm a stubborn, strong willed girl...somewhere under all this black dye is red hair...lol

i've been trying to find people in the area(Augusta, Georgia) to hang out with and feel out the "scene"

When my daughters were infants, I loved the smell of them staright out of the bathtub.

Fresh baked goods, especially bread always makes me happy.

Lilac trees, we had about 6 huge ones in front of my bedroom window. They were lined between the neighbors house and ours. The smell was beautiful when it came through the window with the breeze.
