Homicidalheathen Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 So I met this guy this weekend, who seemed cool. He writes, plays and sells his music. Well he is looking for a new keyboard player and writes allot like my man so I put them in touch with each other. Mind you, the guy is my age.....41. And not very attractive. My man is 51 and very attractive, looks 34. So this guy starts telling my man he was looking for someone 19 to 35. WTF? Hello, your 41. His ad on myspace says band members age 19-35...he doesn't even fit in his own description of what he is looking for! Besides that, my man has a good stage presence and is cute anyway! And plays better than anyone he will find out there. They have all the music influences and style things in common.... So I think we will just stick to what we were doing, alone.......in our basement......sigh. I just think some people are more concerned with looking cool and picking up babes than writing good songs and putting on a good show.
Miranda Posted May 5, 2006 Posted May 5, 2006 You'd think his talent and skill would be more relevant than his age.
Homicidalheathen Posted May 5, 2006 Author Posted May 5, 2006 Thats what gets me. I told the guy how old my man is and he seemed ok with it at first....and he said he wanted some people to write with, not just make him look cool. Then he changes his mind.
