The Omen remake

I can't stand 1 thing in particular...

They use actorsactresses that are nobodies!

All the great ones used fabulous people in the genre and also just huge stars as in the OMENs case I mean they had to tell Lee Remmick that it was a drama/thriller before she'd read it...but she loved the suspense and talked her huge co-star into doing it too

Remakes are just hollywoods way of saying why produce new ideas when we can rehash what's already been made?

I refuse to watch them and I would hope that more people would do the same. Maybe then we'll begin to see new movies that aren't remakes or of T.V. shows. The whole thing makes me sick.

Well I must admit im ratehr excited for this one and I get to see a nice sneak this coming week (2 weeks early!)

Saw The Omen 6/6/06 this weekend-it was an unimaginative rehash of the original. Had no shocks, poor acting, poor script, weak direction and the kid playing Damien was about as sinister as Barbie. One to avoid!
