[5/23] Karaoke Contest Finals at Izzy's

Late notice, I know, but if anyone checks this and has nothing to do tomorrow night, I'm in the finals for a karaoke contest at Izzy's on Gratiot north of 12 mile. I'm one of 15 finalists and the grand prize is a trip for 2 to vegas... the competition is fierce and it's sure to be an entertaining evening. I plan to do something Phantom of the Opera themed if anyone's into that =)

No cover (better not be, anyway), karaoke starts at 9, the contest itself probably around 10-ish.

PotO... nice. Meh, I usually prefer going over to eastgate since I don't have my own CD+Gs. They have a much better selection. On the other hand, they won't be doing karaoke tomorrow. Theirs is thur-sun. So we'll see, I might see you up there. Keep an ear open for basket case, its my usual.

lol, this is erin, i know who you are. And Malibu (the company) has a pretty decent selection. I have a friend who hosts at Kelly's on the Eastside, and he's an independent company and has the best karaoke selection i've ever seen.

She works mon-thurs, midnights. I don't know that she'd be up for it tonight anyway. On top of all that, she lives downriver.
