BillyDeath Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Bush is a selfish rotten man. I hate him he only cares about billionaires.
phee Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Bush is a selfish rotten man. I hate him he only cares about billionaires. Whether I like him or not... it is much more complicated then that....
Blackmail Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Bush is a selfish rotten man. I hate him he only cares about billionaires. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well he did give more money to Africa to fight aids than any president before. Not that I like him though.
BillyDeath Posted June 8, 2006 Author Posted June 8, 2006 Whether I like him or not... it is much more complicated then that.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ya well I still hate him.
The_Dark Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 He's also given more to stem cell research than anyone else.
phee Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Like I said more complicated... the universe is very grey... not usually black and white...
The_Dark Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 and brought about a very deep change of heart for the Lybian givernment... we are about to go into the first direct talks with Iran since 1979...
Blackmail Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 well he will be gone in a couple of years and I hope the next president does something to address some things that I don't feel our current president is addressing.
phee Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 well he will be gone in a couple of years and I hope the next president does something to address some things that I don't feel our current president is addressing. yes.... And people tend to dwell on failures more than accomplishments... I will say that Bush has made that part of human nature much easier to give examples of...
Daevion Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 I like bush.....but I can't stand the current president
DJ Nocker Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Bush is a selfish rotten man. I hate him he only cares about billionaires. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Your an Idiot, I would like to see you do better.
DJ Nocker Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Im sorry, maybe I should not have called you an idiot, but people need to lay off bush. You run for president if you can do better.
Vater Araignee Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 I love bush, trimmed down in all the right places of course.
Msterbeau Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Im sorry, maybe I should not have called you an idiot, but people need to lay off bush. You run for president if you can do better. I'm pretty sure I've got him beat in the how to speak proper english department. And an anarchist defending a conservative president? That's funny.. :grin
phee Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 I do not like George W. Bush as a President... for a lot of reasons... most of which I have already stated
HighProtein Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 He won't be kicked out of office no matter what he does. Its a shame democrats in office for the most part don't have nuts and don't return fire to 99.9% of republican propaganda.
honeymustard02 Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 He may have done more in some areas then other presidents, but that's to take the focus away from the huge problems he's causing for this country. When Bill Clinton was in office we had a national surplus. Now that bush is in office we're in a huge national debt. I really don't believe it's because he's done such "good deeds" either.

He might have slowed the overspending, but it was still there.
Blackmail Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 What we had during the Clinton years was a balanced budget and a surplus on the budget. There was still a national debt which was slightly paid down during the Clinton years and now Bush has run the defecit even higher. The balanced budget was not because of Clinton alone, Gingrich and the republican house actually acted like Republicans and there was a real movement to curb spending, Clinton did his part in meeting the Republicans half way and the Federal Reserve (Greenspan) helped by cutting interest rates.
BrassFusion Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 Sigh. And then voter confidence in the Democrats got destroyed in one fell BJ.
The_Dark Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 I think it was more likely the lieing under oath part. They didn't start the impeachment process for the BJ... it was for lieing about it under oath.
torn asunder Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 i'm honestly surprised that 9/11 and the following "war on terror" hasn't been cited as a *possible* reason for the fiscal difference between clinton & bush's presidency... is it just me, or might that have something to do with it!? :blink :erm
BrassFusion Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Of course that's part of the reason... the "War on Terror" has been a financial black hole. The really stupid part was when Congress started voting on whether to increase the budget for it, and they knew they'd all be "unpatriotic" and "unelectable" if they voted against a budget increase.
The_Dark Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Another thing people seem to forget is all the natural disasters Bush has had to deal with... How much cash did we send for the Tsunami? Katrina? the variuos major earth quakes?
