I have a better idea. Stop being such an arrogant prick. I heard about this on the news yesterday. They didn't mention gun control. I read the story that Onyx posted. It didn't mention gun control. The issues are clear: It allows a person to defend their property/themselves with deadly force, without threat of lawsuit but it potentially can be taken advantage of by people with alterior motives.

I've been making an effort to see your point of view and be civil at all times when addressing you. I'd appreciate the same from you. These outbursts of yours are bullshit and directly contradict the spirit of this site.

I tend to form opinions after I have read everything I can on a subject. When it comes to new laws that affect my every day life I look into the debates that lead up to the law being passed or repealed. The case in question is a good one. This is not a new subject.. not being able to use deadly force when someone breaks in is a realativly new law that was passed as part of GUN CONTROL.

The correlation is obvious. The causation is not. It takes a whole hell of a lot more legwork to prove causation than correlation.

I'm not going to say that Mark's idiocy is the cause of his behavior, but I'm pretty confident that there's a correlation.

Every time a state loosens gun controls.. deaths by gun in that state drop. Violent crime rates drop.
