Help Promote Dgn On Your Website

How about a little return love for those having your link on their website? Should make a page for all the DGN peoples' websites. I've been waiting for you to make one up personally. I know its on their profiles, but why not just list a users website link or allow them to post it with a graphic somewhere special instead of having a thread with it just for it to disappear into the dark?

Having to monitor god knows how many websites to see if we are endorsing someones personal flame against some other DGNer would be pretty rough. I already get fairly regular complaints about links in th forums and peoples profiles themselves linking to hate-posts and such that we end up having to edit. Actual "DGN sponsored links" to such pages and having to monitor them on top of the 100+ posts a day would be pretty difficult.

DGN is theoretically the "play nice" board, and that type of free-for-all linkage is difficult to jive with the board mission concept.

Honestly i'm often putting in like 30-40+ hours a week to keep this place going with no pay (and probably $1000+ out of my pocket personally over the years) , and between all the mods probably are at like 200+ hours a week with no pay. If helping out DGN by posting a banner seems not worth that, thats fine i understand.

Give me a few minutes and I'll make one of those blue for you... Couple questions, what shade of blue? Dark blue, cobalt, light blue, etc.? And do you want the skull blue or the background? Just want to be sure before I do it....

Why don't you let me help out and monitor them? Maybe they would send me a link to the website and I could go and investigate it on my own time. I'd like to visit other members websites now and then when I get bored and when I don't feel like posting. At least if I am going to have your link on my website, you should have mine on yours.

Well, one is a gift, the other a show off. lol

and the gift, I can customize with your DGN name, if you so wish.

I spent two hours, looking for the right girl image to go with what I wanted. Other than her "Leland City Club" and the DGN banner (I did have to cut her out of the pic I found her in), everything else was a collaboration of GIMP, and MS Paint. I love the way this turned out.... Enjoy! ^_^

Everyone loves you, the topic post is just a mess. Its a great idea, I'd just make a whole new topic so people can see it. Most readers already know what this topic is about and don't check the updates. Only the more hardcore posters read updates to a post like this. That along with only a small subset of cool posters, such as yourself will help promote DGN directly.

The topic post looks like a total eyesore due to it not being converted to the new board's code format.... which I can't get to anytime soon I don't think. That rebuild takes like 10 hours to get through all the posts, and you have to sit and watch it, it won't run on its own. I'll have to just re-do the whole thing at some point. That there is also a reason I doubt many people scroll down past the first page.

The topic post is embarrassing actually. Have to walk out the door in a minute to go see my dad in the hospital and when I get back, if i'm not totally stessed out.. 50 other things to do sitll. grrr. lol
