If anyof you watch/listen to the news, then you might have heard of the Chemical Bomb that went off in Ramadi right before Easter.

Well, that explosion happened on the road right by my camp. I saw the exposion cloud. It shook my SWA Hut really bad.

Everyone one the camp had to tell their chain of command if they where feeling any different. Like itchy eyes, itchy throat, because of the explosion. It contained Chlorine Gas, but only took out the IP staition. To my knowledge, no US forces where harmed.

It was a VBIED. *Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Device* The VBIED was staged to blow up an IP *Iraqi Police* station just on the other side of our camp.

Just in case anyone hear it or saw it on TV.

Well..it happens that I am loading up for more packages to send out to my other soldiers honey. Would you like some more? Anything specific? Okay, heres a quick update:

I'd first like to thank you all for the birthday wishes. However, I DIDN'T get to blow anything up, but I was in a Bull Dozer all day. The night before my squad had a steak cook out. It was pretty nice.

Been busy here. I'm on a loader one day, and a scraper the next. Or I'm a trainer, or I'm in a dump truck. I really don't know what I'm doing until the night before or even an hour before!

July is when I will be home on my two weeks leave. After that, I will be home sometime in September. It's not that long of a wait from when I will be home, so yeah.

Um, still not promoted. I hate it. But what can you do? I got people not telling people whats going on. Lack of Comunication. Yippie.

I had two guys frind gray hairs thru my jet black hair. So you know what that means. time to dye it again. :-D

Okay well sorry this is short, but I gots to go. I have a meeting to attend. Love you all. And miss you all. Hope to see most of you in july, if not then, well, we have september!!

Yesterday morning *my time this is* there was a VIBIED that went off on a road about 700 meters from the camp.

Here's a foto of the after math, I want to say about 10 minutes later.

To the right of the picture, you'll see the roof of my hooch. My LT and I where taking fotos on the HESCO's outside the house.
