That, apparently, I can be inspiring to a teacher who taught me previously.

A teacher, Gina, who complimented one of my digital pieces..... I thanked her today for it and she said that it made her feel inspired to use Photoshop as well.

1) i learned that a bit of hard work can go appreciated by some at least

2) warm up before any excercise, even when showing off. aw..... i think i've pulled the muscles for the left hand's fingers

3) life is ironic, you find an honest intelligent open minded and fun woman, and she is in a disfunctional relationship (by her admission) that wont end the relationship, because she "don't want to be single" and has to be with someone, even if thier playing mind games on each other.

the latter point i find highly amusing considering the intelligence this woman posseses

That Joy and happiness are not the same thing......that "hapiness" is (hopefully) more of an everyday thing...even yrou dog or cat can make you "happy"....but Joy comes thru in tough times when the odds are stacked against you

The plows are just now getting to my street. My driveway is shoveled but I got stuck backing out onto the street... and then stuck again coming in off of 12Mile. They plow the main roads and all that snow piles up right where you need to get in or out the side streets. Grrrr....

We got our cars plowed in last night. Side effect of having to park in the street because trees fall on your car in the driveway. Phee was out there for a good 45 minutes digging mine out and hasn't even gotten to his own yet. Cross should be okay-ish ... Washtenaw should be great. US-23 should be really clear ... however, off 23, to the doctor will be horrible.

I have learned to NOT schedule appointments after a big snowfall.

I have learned that as much as I hate the gas guzzling aspect of the SUV, the mobility aspect under adverse conditions makes up for it.

I learned, that if you happen to have a downhill driveway like I do, to not park your vehicle on the slippery ice, as your vehicle just may decide to move itself down to the bottom of the driveway by itself, and kiss a snowbank, like my truck did earlier tonite.

get the brakes fixed before the snow falls..bad brakes are even badder (yes, I said badder) in snow

That ALL of the snow should be off of your car or truck before going on the road. Because when you hit the brakes about oh 3 or 4 times, you WILL have sheets of snow cover your windsheild.

Its funny to others, not when it happens to you.

That no matter what "they" say, there is a huge difference between pure almond extract and imitation. I believe the whole city of Warren is out of the pure stuff and I finally had to settle on imitation

That you look really, really stupid when you agree to work with a student after school, then totally forget about it and put the kid on the bus w/the others, and his grandmother walks into your classroom and asks "where's Ben?" and you give her a completely blank stare and say "Ben? Huh?".

She was very nice about it but I could tell she was thinking "Gawd what a complete ziphead doofus" the whole time.
