Crazed Vampyress Posted August 31, 2007 Author Posted August 31, 2007 CV, what edition are those illustrations from? I actually like 'em better than the Tenniel ones. It's one by Arthur Rackham. He did a lot of illustrations in the early 1900's. I particularly like his style.
pomba gira Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 One book to rule them all, one book to find them,One book to bring them all and in the darkness bind them. In the land of Oxford, where the linguists lie. It's one by Arthur Rackham. He did a lot of illustrations in the early 1900's. I particularly like his style. Ah, of course... I'm embarassed for not recognizing it. Altho those are a bit different from what I think of as Rackham's usual style.
jadnifer Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 I like these stories too: The Neverending Story The Dark Crystal Labrynith (although I am ashamed to admit that I havent seen it in forever) Flight of the Navigator is a funny movie too
Sybil Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 After ALOT of thought, the series that I like most is "Sandman". I love Neil Gaiman's imagination. (and my fave character, to take this lil thing a step further is Delirium)

(and my fave character, to take this lil thing a step further is Delirium) Neil Gaiman is godlike. I sold my huge Sandman collection on eBay recently. I want it back! It may sound lame to speak of a work of fiction as life-changing... but this series really changed my whole worldview in ways I can't even find words for.
Sybil Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 "there are things they dont teach you in school" ..."they dont teach you how to cope with death..." :( Go Neil! Go!
