What Is Wrong With People

I just heard a news story about a women and her boyfriend who locked their 2-year old son in the car while they went shopping. The temp was in the 30s and when police found the child he was wet, crying from cold and fear, and only wearing a t-shirt with no shoes. The car was not running at the time and no heat was on in the car. This story made me cry. What fear that child felt sitting there alone in a freezing car. What is wrong with people? How can they do such things? It is freighting that people like this are aloud to breed.

I don't get it either. It is engrained in most humans to protect our offspring, to die if necessary to do so. What is wrong with people like this? Thankfully, the child was found and taken away before any serious injury from the exposure occured. We can only hope that the system will take appropriate steps to ensure his safety in the future by educating the parents and if necessary, disolving their parental rights.

That's like those assholes that have their dogs sit out all night "because they have a fur coat" Doesn't happen really around my house, but where Raven used to live in Hazel Park by 8 Mile it happened a decent amount. People make me wanna spit. I usually just call the humane society and those people no longer have a dog after that. What I don't get about these people, is that on top of leaving the kid in a freezing car, why they'd leave him in a T-SHIRT? I mean COME on! Crazy...
