Paper Hearts Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Anything for you Brenda. I'll remember no strawberry or blueberry. Beefcake!? Yes, I do like Indian, Phee. It's one of my favorites, especially North Indian. i'm an Asian food junky. Thai Curries are good too, and Malaysian and Vietnamese curries are nice. If you ever come into town, we'll go out and get some good Thai. I know the best place, in Detroit!
Brenda Starrr Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Maybe one of these days, I'll give Indian food another chance. I love chinese, though. Does that mean anything?
phee Posted July 25, 2005 Author Posted July 25, 2005 We should all get some thai or cajun or something sometime!
Paper Hearts Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 (edited) Next time every one is in town again, i'll put together another dinner somewhere...Detroit has a famous Cajun place called Fishbones. They also have good sushi there...how's that sound to the two of you? Edited July 25, 2005 by Paper Hearts
Brenda Starrr Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 I'm willing to give it a shot. Hey, do you think that this time you could sit a little closer so that I can actually talk to you? That would be super.
Paper Hearts Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 I'll sit between you and Phee to break up all the bickering. Do you like sake?
Paper Hearts Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Me too! FishBones has a little Sushi bar that is surprisingly good, and you can get hot sake there. Have you ever tried Sea Urchin?
Brenda Starrr Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Nope. I'm not good with the raw stuff. I really have to be in the mood for sushi. I like the ones that don't have the seaweed wraps, as they feel gross in my mouth.
Paper Hearts Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 well, they have Cajun, too, Brenda. Just one idea, we have lots of time...what kind of food do you like, Brenda?
Brenda Starrr Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 It doesn't really matter, Paul. I'm sure that wherever we go, there will be something good on the menu. I have faith that you will pick a good place.
Paper Hearts Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Thanks. Most people hate the places I take them.
Brenda Starrr Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Wow. I'm getting hungry. All this talk of food is making me want to eat something good.....
phee Posted July 25, 2005 Author Posted July 25, 2005 Thanks. Most people hate the places I take them. I find this is true for me as well... they always get uncomfortable eating ravioli in the vincinity of my basement dwelling rape slaves...
Paper Hearts Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 I know. It's just that, that, well...most people won't eat raw urchin and things... i had a greek salad, earlier.
Brenda Starrr Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Well, I won't eat raw. I'll eat some of the cooked ones, though. Did you think of me when you ate your Greek salad? I dropped a large Greek salad on the parking lot on Saturday. I laughed, but I really wanted to cry. And go back to Cyprus.
Paper Hearts Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 I did remember you, that's why I put that. Cyprus will be there, a while, if they'll have us again... Yes, eel is good. Raw scallops are good, too.
