He didn't throw Wright away, he didn't throw his grandmother away. He painted context on the hateful words of two people that mean a great deal to him.

That may be what you saw. I saw him LIE about his grand mother. I saw him compare her mildly racists private admission to him, with the horribly racists things his pastor says.

Get his book, read the story he tells in it about his grand mother.

The black man she admitted to being afraid of was aggressively begging for change at a bus station and would not leave her alone and cornerd her. He left that out of his speech yesterday.

I agree with Gaf. He sooo threw her under the bus. Now that obama is being scrutinized, he is freaking out and just might implode from the pressure. Just like Rush Limbagh said today, obama is basically a black, more polished version of Jimmy Carter. He no longer has my vote and neither does Nurse Ratched.

Look, I realize it may be a little more difficult to acquire the excerpts from his books than it is for me to pull up the transcript of a speech made yesterday. However, the burden of proof is on the person making the assertion. Show me the bus depot paragraph. If you know it it exists, you can post it here, or a link to where I can find it.

He is dropping like a rock in the polls. His 15point lead over Clinton has turned into a 4 point lead... His slightly behind McCain has turned into 8 or 9 point behind.

Hillary was right.. no one has ever really put Barrack to any kind of scrutiny. Now that people are actually starting to look at him... He is going from the Great Hope... to just another racists.

Like I said, there will be fallout.

And he may have been involved with the death of Malcom X, but I dont want to go there right now.

Obama was put in a tough position there, when asked to disown the man who just told a group of loyal followers to get in line and vote for him.

He honestly doesn't approve of Farakkhan or his statements, BUT knows that his base is African Americans.

It's kind of like McCain, repudiating the religious right.

I may be painting , at the moment, with a wide brush. I don't trust his judgment anymore. Who a person has as "Friends" and mentors, says a great deal about that person. Racism and so called reverse-racism (I believe it's all the same evil pile of shit), at the levels these people show, offends me. I don't feel "white guilt" and I am sickened by those people that take advantage of the large portion of the populace that do.

I will not be surprise if more people show up from his past, that he would rather have stayed in the past.
