OMG I hope so.....

Not to deminish Gafs statement, he is very intelligent, but to me that is kind of like saying: "in the end I am sure that the black were given a strong work ethic by hundreds of years of slavery.."

No, it wasn't. I refuse to blame every ill of the world one person.

People used to say the same things about Nixon. 20 years later... a great of those people were eating thier words. They rest never bothered to check in with reality.

In all seriousness........ What good HAS he done?

I think he's a moron. Every one up there at the moment are morons. Cheney is Satan, and Bush is a drug addict that positively butchers the English language.

"he doesn't do drugs anymore" I don't fucking care..........once your an addict...your always an addict...or it would be an affliction, not a disease.

Can't stand hard core Republican's myself. I'm an Independent. I let my own thoughts and research guide my hand in the voting booth, not some party line. If you must put a label on me, I prefer Constistitutionalist.

You should look up his fight against Aids in the African continent. Or perhaps the fact that Libya has made a complete turn around while he was in office.

I've done research on him.. he hasn't done any bit of good for any company or form of government he's been in. I could only get up to when he started first going on massively long vacations. The shit that man did to piss on this country before the vacations had me in a rage.. I couldn't research any further.

I'll look it up.

Though I'm sure I'll still think he's a moron.

He isn't exactly the brightest crayon in the box.

Oh, and, it wasn't JUST the republicans that put him into office. I don't blame the republicans for this. I blame the Christians. I think voting for someone solely based on their religion is just idiocy. Sure, use that as a factor, but don't force the country to endure a moron for 8 years!

Also, I agree with Vampyro...... That stupid ass spent two months in office, then took a three month vacation..... What the hell is that?

idiot.

If I was talking about you I would have quoted you, dear.....

I think you have stated enough times that you are not Republican.....

Bush is a fuctard. We are the second biggest polluter (we are behind china) and are quickly going to be the third. Not because we are polluting less but because India is polluting more and more.

Actually, brother--we didn't:

Yr 2000 Presidential election results--

Bush: 50,456,002

Gore: 50,999,897

Actually brother we did. Ever source I look at the numbers are different so you really can go quoting those numbers legitimately.

There is a liberal documentary about it (wish I could remember the name, it aired on sundance) and in it Gores campaign manager said quit clearly "Bush had the popular but legally we should have had the electorals". Frankly it would not have been hard for the American public to force a complete revote, obviously none of use thought it was worth it. So yes we did vote him in. Well the rest of you did, I voted libertarian, the next time I wrote Benjamin Olmsted in, as I will be doing this time.

You would be surprised how many people try to tell me that I am a Republican. Like they know whats in my heart more than I do.

You are kidding right??? I mean right????

Right now I can see he has done something positive for Africa but.....

IMO

Good that the Administran has done = 6%

Neautral = 13%

Bad = 115% (see, he ruined education so much I can't even do the math!)

Agreed. The travesty that is No Child Left Behind alone outweighs the marginal "good" this administration may have done. And no, Bush isn't solely responsible for all the harm done by his administration, but he IS the leader and as such, he IS responsible for allowing a political culture where his cronies are free to enrich themselves at the expense of the public.

and... "Republicans"... well, even the old school conservatives are disgusted by this administration's utter lack of scruples or foresight. Same with "Christians"... there are plenty of Christians in the true sense- people who try to live according to the teachings of Christ- who are appalled by the hatefulness of the religious right. If we HAVE to label people, let's at least be accurate about it.

I would be very surprised if history were to judge him so kindly.

Fascinating assertion. Even the most conservative election result archives submit that the popular vote in the 2000 presidential election was won by Mr. Gore. I would be very interested to know which sources you have encountered that contradict their assertions.

They put him on such a long vacation because within 2 months he started doing SO MUCH HARM in paperwork...(if i had the book with me I'd be able to quote off a LLLLLLOOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGGG list of bad things he's administered HIMSELF) that he became very unpopular to begin with... so the sent him on a 3 month long vacation, while they tried to figure out how to get the population loving him again.. and on perfect timing, 9/11 happened. Which he was oddly so "well prepared" for to take action and save the day when oddly, any other disasters, like Hurricane Katrina, caught him with one thumb in his mouth, and the other up his ass.. and the bad reaction time spanned all the way down to the local government of New Orleans.. but I'm bringing up too many points to spawn this into a massive flame war about the entire past 8 years.. I don't want to do that, i don't have the time or energy to explain everything. All I say is before you submit to gaf's coroprate owned, gov't approved news sources.. you should do some research yourself.

i read somewhere once.. that most real republicans (as with democrats) deny being republicans/democrats. With most people that deny this, it prettymuch fits the bill. Those who claim loud and proud to be one or the other are really only just followers for the sake of fitting in with the label.

I would like to point out that I feel that "Christians" are getting slighted unfairly in a generalized category due to a certain division of christianity. (bad apple spoils the whole bunch)

Not all christians supported bush, it was, and is, the Evangelical religious group. All you need to do is youtube/google video search "jesus camp" and see just how deeply down the tunnel of delusional insanity most the Evangelicals went.

That may be the case for some.

I don't hold very may "Republican" views.

I don't hold many "Democratic" views.

Most of my views fall right down the middle of the two.

I vote for who I believe to be the best person for the position, no matter what party they belong too.

I look at their record, what they have done and compare that to what they have said.

I voted for Clinton, twice. I voted for Bush, twice.

I voted for Granholm, once. I voted for Devos the next time.

I believe abortion should be legal, but have intelligent regulation.

I support stem cell research but not fetal stem cell research. I base that position on science, not morals. Fetal stem cell research causes far too much social upheaval for the very small benefit it would reap. Where as, the other forms of stem cell research have already produced treatments that work.

I support the war, and wanted it to start about 6 years before it did.

I oppose a draft but support mandatory national service.

I am not a Republican.

I am not a Democrat.

and mostly, I am not a lemming to pop politics.
