Phee...I never woke up at 6 am for a smoke....but I did that for 4 months of my life for a joint. I know ppl that won't even go LOOK for a job on their home internet connections because their fucking stoned.

Don't get me wrong...I like pot...I just don't abuse it...hell...if I smoke more then once a month...thats odd.

When I was taking pot CONSTANTLY...and mind you, were talking from 6 am till like 1 am...going from joint all the way to humidifier by 2 pm...I was stealing liquer (5 bottles a day- 5 days a week), hardly walked out of the house where I was at, and had to remind myself every morning that I shaved the sides n back of my head and dyed the rest electric blue.

I had no drive to do anything....and I came close to doing coke, because I was much more easily susceptable to influence.

If it wasn't for two very good friends, I would probably have done coke...and quite a bit of it...and not have anything resembling a life NOW.

I'm not saying that it effects EVERYONE like that....but if you take it like I was...then yeah...it's gonna fuck you up....and the feeling is more addicitve the cigs.

If you are smoking pot and you don't have a Rx for it, then you're abusing it. It doesn't matter if you use it once a month, or use it everyday.

My brother is an addict. He lived with me for a very long time.

My father is an addict, I lived with him my whole childhood.

My mother used to be an addict ... she got help.

My brother is a perfect example. He has lived at my parents house for 3 years now with his wife (also an addict) and his three kids (two his, one is not). He agreed to pay my Mom and Dad $400 a month to live there. In 3 years they have gotten $500. He's lost job after job over his addiction. He doesn't eat, he doesn't sleep, he is severely depressed ... and he usually doesn't go to work (he works for my brother-in-law, who has fired him FOUR times over it already).

He has no money, no stable job history, no car and no ambition.

He is (or has) literally lost EVERYTHING over it.

THAT is an addict.
