Really damn pissed! Seriously! WTF are these schools thinking?!?! They harp on the fact that we need to work with out hands and think outside of the box and yet every damn test has nothing to do with your hands and is inside such a small box that there is no room for error. If you tell your students that this stuff is no longer important...DON'T TEACH IT! What about teaching us to use the programs that have replaced this stuff? What about having us work on the dyno instead of talking about it? What about actually giving us parts, which you have, and having us measure them and chart them? What about training us for actual jobs in the real world?

Actually, it is available. Dopamine is an injectable vasopressive agent. Usually a "Hail Mary" drug, because of its nasty side effects (fingers and toes tend to die and blacken.) It doesn't pass the blood brain-barrier in the form of dopamine. Levodopa, a precursor to dopamine, does cross the blood-brain barrier, and is converted to dopamine. It is used for Parkinson's, and only 5% gets into the brain where it is needed. And it does cause problems after a while of chronic use.
