What is your major malfunction

Knowing you... That's not odd at all... LOL!!

Last night, I couldn't sleep for shit, so I was trying to make myself as comfy as I could so I could at least try to get some shut eye. But then...Raven...just kept inching closer and closer trying to cuddle in his sleep, so I kept inching further and further away....

About fifteen minutes later I fell off the side of the bed nekkid . Just a funny story. Normally I wouldn't mind cuddling, it's just last night not only was I pissy but having an insomniac fit so I really didn't want to be touched I just wanted some sleep, but instead, I received hardwood floor.

I will say though that sharing a bed with someone has not only made me desensitized to snuggling but I actually like it now! Imagine that. Just...not when I'm REALLY trying to sleep is all.

I found out I like to smell the trashbag before it goes in the trashcan

Mom accidentally bought scented bags :blushing:

Yech. I hate scented bags. I bought some accidentally, once. Still paying for that mistake!!

I have a weird knack for being able to finish people's sentences when they forget what they're going to say, even if it has nothing to do with what's going on at the time.

for instance: "I lost my...."

"...necklace?"

nope, fits pretty textbook w/some other traits you have.

Me: can't stand to see or gods forbid touch anything moldy. Just creeps me out to no end. If something's been in the fridge long enough that mold is likely, I get someone else to toss it... especially if it's in a sealed container. I can't stop imaginging this horrible mold-creature leaping out at me and turning me into something like on the "chupacabra" episode of X-Files.

I also scratch myself in my sleep, or even when awake without noticing... actually draw blood, then repeatedly scratch off the scabs while they're healing. All the ugly hyperpigmentation on my back is from doing that. I got hypnotized out of it once... lasted about a year but for some reason I've never had it done again.

I've been a "book-sniffer" ever since I can remember.

Each time I open a book, whether it be new or old, I smell the pages. There is something attractive in the new ink smell of a fresh publication, and the sweet, musty smell of an old tome..

I procrastinate a LOT. I also have a weird compulsion to apologize to people even when they arent mad...

my major malfunctions:

I

~ Am mean and spiteful when i don't aim to be (this is rare, but it happens)

~ Get violently angry to the point of throwing things and what not (NEVER aimed at anyone. just in general... like to the floor, or if its something little, the wall.. and i do it in hopes that it will break, whatever it is.)--that being said, since I have met Chris, this has toned down a quite alot--

~ Am super OCD about dirty floors. When i clean them I vacuum over a floor 5-6 times, and I mop a floor 3-4 times or so....

I tend to judge on appearance...ALOT. It's not all that shallow, by certain aspects such as how a person dresses, their weight, how they carry themselves, hygience, off the bat you can generally tell ALOT about how that person will be. Not 100% of the time is it accurate, and I always keep that in mind and give everyone a chance even if I have a bad feeling about them, but certain traits I've noticed in my lifetime have a tendency to tell alot about a person.

I tend to...umm, not contact my dearest friends for months (sometimes years) at a time.

They still love me.

Who knows why...

my "major malfunction" and "weird things i do on a regular basis" are two entirely different things ;)

because i think my malfunction is laziness. and my weird things i do regularly have nothing to do with that.

I've been a "book-sniffer" ever since I can remember.

Each time I open a book, whether it be new or old, I smell the pages. There is something attractive in the new ink smell of a fresh publication, and the sweet, musty smell of an old tome..

i've always done this as well. but, i tend to smell everything. i guess that is about the weirdest thing i do and that is not really that weird if you think about it. i just like to know how things smell. i will even smell bad smelling things to know what they smell like. then when i smell things in the future, without seeing what it is, i always know what i am smelling. i must have gotten this from my dad, who was one weird guy for sure. he smelled everything and made me smell it too. no matter what it was. he would even want me to smell dirty socks. "smell this! smell this!" no thanks dad, that's ok. i'll pass on that one.

i guess one thing i do that i do not think is weird but others do is i will go through phases of not wanting to really talk to people. not everyone, but most people. i won't answer the phone, i don't see them- i will email them but not actually "talk" to them. sometimes i just need a break from people. that's not weird if you ask me. i like my quiet, alone time and too many people can be a mental overload for me. taking in all their thoughts and problems and feelings. ugh. too much sometimes. so i back away by not talking to them ALL. :p

washing line. clothes must have matching pegs.

My undergarments and hosiery must all match. Jewelry must all match. Hat, shoes and handbag must also match. Heavens forbid I walk out of this house a mismatched mess (or as my great-grandmother would have said, "looking like a polock"). I imagine her colloquial use of the word "Polock" referred to the colourful traditional dress of some Polish folks.

I play with my hair too much....especially when I am watching tv.

I have to look in my ears everyday to make sure they are clean.

I have to sleep with something in my arms...whether it be a stuffed animal or a blanket rolled up.

When I am driving and alone I like my music real loud.

I bite my nails. I keep my toenails extremely short. I can't stand the sight of long toenails.
