Everyone must take an IQ test before being allowed to breed..or in the very least something simple that shows they're not completely stupid. People who commit violence on other humans will be shot on site.

Won't that cause a lot of death? I mean if your job is to shoot people who commit violence on other humans... the first time you shoot a human, you would have to be shot yourself...

i would dedicate all the worlds resources to populating other planets with clones of myself. I have recently come to see the truth. the purpose of life is to self replicate. as it has been since it began with single celled organisms. evolution itself all life fuilled by this need to self replicate like a single celled lifeform.

there would be huge freighters with stassis vats of clones of me sent in all directions annually with all the resources needed to sustain a civilization. cantact vessels would be terraforming spots.

venus would be harvested as fuel. giant mirrors in space would propel crafts on laser light highways across space.

until i gained possetion of the Loc-Nar

earths evolution would be protected by some act of legislation like a national park.

the ancient pharoes of egypt new this, as it is reflected in primative monarchy. some pharoes had up to 2000 children, before cloning breeding was the only way.

i agree with the breeding liscence, but maybee designated areas of the world classified as breeding areas to control the evolution. some citizens would be sent to different levels based on tests. get scientist towns and athletic towns. like russia's secret science towns. or sparta's army civilization

Marshal as much of the world's resources as possible to getting humanity off-planet.

The way I see it is this: I don't like being stepped on or pushed around, so I assume that most others feel the same way. I don't think that the government should mandate how we live our lives. Land of the free...

Unless, of course, the person has a strong moral code and doesn't want the job. They'd probably do a better job than anyone who WOULD want to.

yeah like obama a few years back when crowds of people were begging him to run for office and he kept refusing

So, I'm still curious about this. So far, there's been some voices for:

environmental issues

corruption

victimless laws

space exploration

There's been some talk about population control, whether breeding rights or a form of eugenics. I personally can't agree with these because (like I mentioned above) I don't want anyone stepping on my toes and I assume that most others are the same. Is there a way to achieve these goals without the government enforcing a policy? What about a better educational system to (attempt to) remove ignorance? I think that pursuing that, and a well funded space program, would help out dramatically.

Any other ideas?
