so what is everyone's definition of a crush anyhow....i come to realize after having a convo with a friend of mine that not everyone thinks of a crush on the same level....

A crush to me is an interest in someone. You can choose to pursue it or you can let it die depending on how strong you feel for them or even if you think it is going to work out ect ect.

I did some urban dictionary research:

1. Crush

a burning desire to be with someone who you find very attractive and extremely special.

2. Crush

a painful experience, very common amoung middle schoolers (and high schooler's and even adults to a lesser degree) that involves being obsessed with a member of the opposite sex (or the same sex, if u prefer), being attracted to them physically (most common), or emotionally- also called 'puppy love'

also: the object of this affection

Verb: crushing

3. crush (my definition of a sort)

1. the act of falling hard for someone even though it isn't love yet

2. a precursor to love

3. an amazing thing that gives you feelings of nerves and excitement whenever you see them

though crushes with me always brighten my mood, and i do concern myself for that person, its still got room to grow, or just peter off into a good friendship.
