Indeed I think it will be tried again. I was surprised how the media has been downplaying most of the talk. I think they fear what may come out of people when the talk of racism is being played out on a possible president. No one seems willing to acknowledge the real threat these jackasses are proposing. When I was in Arkansas this past Friday on my way up, I came in for breakfast just west of Little Rock. I remember hearing some locals talking about not wanting to have a black president. Its no wonder the south is still sickened with its old image. Its almost a north vs south kind of shituation again and I keep hearing people from the south still being as they are known to be. Not all, but still plenty. No offense Gaf and I am sure you aren't offended because you have probably heard a lot of redderick down there.

Why the fuck do people think the south is more racists than the north? What I have found, is that racism is slightly more open down here but the hidden and unspoken racism of the north is worse.

I agree. People are more open about racism in the South. But, things are more volatile in the North. I'd hang out in Louisiana swamp land any day over the Michigan Upper Peninsula.

thats true to every extent. specially in the lower michigan where all ethnic backgrounds are more evenly spread out. and with detroits riot past. there has been so much tension thats being passed down from generation to generation.

but id like to point out, theres those who are against culture shifts to more violent and less moral base. thugs and what not, which in itself is fine to have these judgements. but if you put the demographic sheet over it. it can have the illusion of racism.

Oh I can definitely agree that there is enough up here. But from what I have experienced down south from listening or talking with people is that they are openly racist. I live in Howell now which is supposedly the KKK capital, but I have yet to see it. I mean, so far that I have noticed, all my neighbors are predominately white, but I have seen all other ethnic backgrounds downtown. I didn't say the south was more racist. They just show their racism alot more openly than the north from my experience.
