Please keep these types of comments to a minimum, I understand the feelings behind it, but to incite violence to solve violence, is not something anyone should stand behind.

How would you get "innocent" people out of there? What would constitute "innocent" Who would be the judge of that? If the person's never made ONE racist remark (even I've been guilty of saying some things that could have been seen as offensive)? How do you KNOW for certain they aren't racist? This would be so hard to decipher don't you think?

Was not meant like that, was more meant the punishment should fit the crime. AND it's not for someone to TAKE that eye, it was meant for the person to give it of his own free will. In apology for taking the other person's eye. (look at me defending the bible and what was 'meant')

When someone states an opinion on something,does'nt mean they are going to do it,enough of the god---- assumptions.I personally know DM he has the right to his own opinion as anyone else,no one has to agree with him,even he say that.Ever since I joined I have seen how him and a few others have been treated and its bs.thats why he decided to leave just like the others(religion and bs)now back to what the thread was about,racist people suck,and with this planned assassination attempt is only the beginning.no one ever gets along anymore in America anymore,and a bad economy does not help matters either.continue..

My understanding is, more of a "walk away" thing- don't just sit still for continued abuse, but don't start some long, drawn-out process of vengeance for every little slight that's thrown at you.

And the whole "eye for an eye" thing is supposed to mean ONLY an eye... as opposed to starting some kind of multigenerational vendetta. So both philosophies are about restraint- not dragging things out forever.
