I don't anymore. I grew out of that phase, and thank god it was a phase. I have more respect for myself then that. Because lets face it, "bad boys" aren't known for their emotional growth and mutually respect in relationships. If you are a "bad boy" and HAVE these characteristics, you are a statistical outlier.

The key is to work on these issues BEFORE getting involved with someone else (airport full of issues or not). If you can't be in a relationship and have emotional growth, open communication, and mutual respect, you shouldn't be in one. That is just my personal opinion of course.

don't be upset....this is important stuff and it's not easy to visually, or even mentally, tell the "bad boy/girl" from the "fucking un-funny asshole/cunt" at first.....least not to the "victim" .

thats where friends come in.....ALWAYS get new people your dating out with your friends within the first 4-5 dates, if not sooner. Your friends aren't COMPLETELY blinded about how cute he/she is, or something like that....and friends tend ot have warning signs their looking for better then you, because they care about you....not him/her (yet)

so wait....are we trying to go for the general concensus that ALL bad boys are trouble??...cuz I'm sorry...thats just not the case....you can be a "bad boy" and have excellent relationships.....its the "un-funny assholes" that are severly hard to distingush from Bad Boys that give us a bad name...I'll admit...I got a couple of issues....but I'm not immature, nor a nightmare.

Most of those I know who I would class as a bad boy are in actuality immature assholes.

I used to think the bad boy thing was kind of cute when I was very young. After a while you see through them and realize they have nothing to offer.
