About to try soldering some cogs onto the brass ring I made.  Hopefully I can pull it off without messing it up.  I think it looks ok the way it is but it just isn't steampunk without the cogs.  lol.

Aww man!!!  I wish I had read this sooner.  We drive through Berkley every few months.  We actually had some extra time yesterday for a change and grabbed some lunch on Woodward and hung out in the parking lot at a park for about 20 minutes before heading home.  Not sure if you would have been available for a brief lunch meet, but that would have been fun.:happy:

I would have.  I just been goofing off lately anyway. Next time or anytime you want! I live behind,  well basically next door to Clarks ice cream. It's delicious. 😋

Yep, we were a half mile away from you.

Trene has an appointment on this coming Tuesday and I usually hit the Donut Cutter right after we leave there.  We will be a couple of miles from you...and there will be food!!! 😆

Weird, it's saying I'm not allowed to use the new email on this site. It's a Gmail address.

Unfortunately, the inner workings of the site is hardwired to not accept Gmail addresses due to the amount of Bots that use Gmail.  I have tried bypassing it, but for specific reasons, that was not allowed even on an admin level.

About to take a break.  It's too hot to work right  now, but I will be fitting the entire cat habitat and backyard structures with chainmail...a.k.a. chain-link fencing attached to everything.

      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
