Soulrev Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Bout to go to my friend's shop to fix my car (needs new head gasket). Should be nice, 80 degrees and sunny today in Co Springs so I'm kind of looking forward to it, as much as I hate turning wrenches anymore... Having wheels again wiill be even nicer! Wish me luck I don't run into any other issues and this head gasket replacement goes well! kat 1

TronRP Posted March 19 Posted March 19 About to catch up on stuff that got missed yesterday due to low ebb.

Took a lot longer than I expected. Arthritis, bad back and everything makes stuff like this even harder. Getting old sucks. Seriously. I guess the Army and my overall hard lifestyle has finally caught up with me. At any rate, car is running beautifully now. Should last me another 250k miles! Love these old Hondas. Treat them right they will run forever. Which I cannot say about *any* car made after ~2004. Especially now. Car manufacturers purposely make them more expensive to fix. Ideally, (for them) they would rather you throw your car away as soon as it breaks, and buy a new one. Sad but true! 🤷 kat 1
TronRP Posted April 18 Posted April 18 About to clear some images off my phone then get some sleep since I have to chauffeur to Berkeley in the morning.
