We can let them or we can undo every thing we can in 2010 by voting out all incumbents and not voting for the preferred "Democrat" or "Republican" canidates. In fact, we need to avoid all professional politicians.

"We must protect our critical infrastructure at all costs—from our water to our electricity, to banking, traffic lights and electronic health records—the list goes on," Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-W.Va.), bill co-sponsor, said in a statement. "It's an understatement to say that cyber-security is one of the most important issues we face; the increasingly connected nature of our lives only amplifies our vulnerability to cyber-attacks and we must act now." Fellow co-sponsor Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) added, "America's vulnerability to massive cyber-crime, global cyber-espionage and cyber-attacks has emerged as one of the most urgent national security problems facing our country today. Importantly, this legislation loosely parallels the recommendations in the CSIS [Center for Strategic and International Studies] blue-ribbon panel report to President Obama and has been embraced by a number of industry and government thought leaders." I agree with that last bit of yours, though. We need someone who's a bit different then more of the s(h)ame.

You can try to blame this on Bush all you want... but this is another push by the Agent of Change to take all the power he can.

No credit, not even a water bill. They plan to collect rain water...grow their own food...in abandoned houses...no taxes...nothing. I wish them luck...doubt they will pull it off. Most of the houses are already taken over by crackheads...someone will notice those rain barrels... They have convinced me though maybe I should get off the net totally soon. I might.

Sounds similar to what we're doing up here. We've got geothermal heat and have the windmil that generates power. We grow our own food in the summer, canning what we can. We're mostly off the grid.

Yeah, we are probably the only country and the only government to misuse technology. We should probably just commit mass suicide because it seems we can't get anything right. Honestly, I would feel better with many people having these chips in them. The government will never go after everyone...at least not me. Why? Even though I do enjoy some fun in my life there is really nothing about me that threatens anyone. However, these chips should be used in cars and or plates because you deserve to have your privacy invaded if you are a retard on wheels...and there are alot of those out there. If you have something that you really have to hide...you should have though about that before. The government doesn't even need to move toward anything like these chips because technology is moving that way on its own. Think of all the things around today that are common and that don't bother people at all...years ago that stuff was unheard of. If you think that you have privacy now you are kidding yourselves. This world is growing together in both population and communication. If you can't deal with the way things are headed then...well, I don't know what to suggest...maybe a time machine or suicide.

Here's the thing: in that kind of environment, EVERYONE has something to hide, EVERYONE is guilty of SOMETHING. The purpose behind this kind of 1984 scenario is not public safety, but public control. Over time, more and more activities become criminalized until it becomes impossible to even know everything on the prohibited list. I don't want the government's nose out of my business because I have something to hide; I want it out of my business because the Constitution says it has to! I can't believe I have to explain this. Think of all the things around today that are common and that don't bother people at all...years ago that stuff was unheard of. When we do this, when we allow the private Federal Reserve to bankrupt our nation, when we allow millions of illegal immigrants to suck on the taxpayers' collective tit, when we allow Congress to pass draconian legislation without even reading it first, we piss on the graves of everyone who fought, suffered, and died to give birth to this Republic. Maybe Big Brother will win. Maybe most of us will be living in labor camps in five years. Maybe we'll be dead, but I can tell you that I'll go down resisting. Like Patrick Henry said...
