What about Obama's use of cocaine is school and his admission that it was "something you did when you ahd enough cash"?

I have been trying to talk about the real topic. Except for a few exceptions every post has been an attack on my charactor for wanting to talk about the topic. Such as your post that has added so much to the conversation.

Unfortunately your character is discussed more because your original point IS VALID, and I do (for the record) don't like the legalization of wiretapping (unless regulated and used WHEN NEEDED) and I do agree that it is a problem.

BUT your attitude and lack of respect for everyone on this board who does not agree with you, is what makes it hard to give a fuck about the topic.

Not many has disagreed with you, their just not as extreme and argumentative.

Any discussion started by you, has undoubtedly been more about being right, and wrong, than actually discussing the original point.

When something so offensive as this happens... and no one speaks up... why is it a greater offense to ask why? Thats all I did.

If it was such an offense when Bush enacted it... why is it OK when Obama defends it and expands it?

In-action in the face of (for lack of a better word) evil, supports that evil just as much as doing it. We have it codified in most of our laws. If you see someone doing something illegal, if you don't say or do something about it, you can be charged. You can be forced to give witness or be penalized.
