Terrorists Strike London

I heard, in an interview on the radio last night, that some Londoners who have wireless phones, have become able to recieve text messages. I've asked a mutual friend (who has a "global" wireless plan) to send our firend who lives in London a "text" asking simply, if she is okay. There has been no response back from her yet but i just thought I'd post this information about "texting", hopeful that it will help someone.

Account of London bombings from an email response, from my friend Andrea-

"When I was having breakfast, there was a report the Northern line was

suspended, so was not surprised by the entrance being barricaded when I got

there. So, I took the overland to Victoria (South of London proper in Zone

1). When I arrived at Victoria, wondering what sequence of buses I needed

to get to travel all the way to White City (West of London proper in Zone

2), there were announcements that all Underground services AND all London

Bus services were suspended.

I rang work and it was recommended I return home. Which is what I did.

It was not until I got home that I realised how serious the incident was!

Many of the lines were operating this morning so was able to come into work

but many did not come in."

How I hate the faceless cowardly terrorists in the world. They have no morals or fucking honor. They do what they wish to appease their political agenda or their warped view of their "god". Kill all those mother fuckers.

you know, to be flat honest, this attitude really disgusts me, because it's this attitude that creates the negativity and hatred some people feel for others... these people have some of the strongest moral beliefs in the world, and fully beleive they're doing honorable works for their deity. those of you who feel they should "Kill all those mother fuckers" are, to me, no better than the "terrorosits"... =(

Read it again. I said the ones who have a warped view, not the ones who go by their religion as it's suppose to be intended. I don't ever recall in the Islamic religion that it's ok to go out and kill innocent women and children.

All religions have their zealots who bastardize their religions point of view to benefit them or their group. Need I mention the "good" christians during "The Burning Times"?

I don't really see how you can feel this way. These people would kill you without a second thought. Having the strongest moral beliefs in the world isn't a good thing if your morals say to kill anyone and everyone that doesn't think like you. These people are rapid dogs. What do we do with rabid dogs? Thats right, we kill them so the infection doesn't go any farther. These fanatics have hijacked the Muslim religion and twisted it into a cult of murder.

This is definitly true...

However simply killing terrorists is ineffective, it just seems to make more terrorists (as we have seen) we have to stop the problem at it's root. We have to stop the factors that create terrorism, fanatical world leaders, imperialism, and self rightousness... This is a lot more complicated than simply "killin them all" and unfortunatly it will take much more time.

      Nope, we wasn't doing anything. I didn't want to go by myself.  I ended up doing karaoke here. It would of been a perfect day to go, though.

      On a different note, I can't believe this month is half over already.

      ~~~~~ Wait, what? With as hot as it has been, that sounds like it would have been a great idea.  Or did it interfere with something?
      Wow, we had a brief power outage on Friday morning and I just now had time to boot my computer back up.  It has been a crazy time, but I did get my vehicle back Friday afternoon and new tires put on it Saturday morning.   After 2 years, finally got the AC repaired and the frame rewelded from last year's "repare".  These guys at Gratiot Auto Center: Chris P., Sevo and Damon...Lifesavers!!!   They used to be called Roseville Auto, but this is a new group because I didn't recognize anyone and they didn't have any records of working on my previous vehicle.  Also, there seems to be 2 shifts of workers because I didn't know anyone there today when I went to have the maintenance light turned off from the service that was completed Saturday.   It was literally like night and day.  Chris P. was laid back and handled things with a steady flow, Minnesota Fats style.  The guy today was rushed and hectic like an extra from Everybody Loves Raymond.
