Valentines Day....

Years ago I renamed Valentine's day Vodka day.  Why?  That day has always sucked ass and always will, so on that horrid day of days, I drink vodka until I pass out.

February 14th, 1995 The only Valentines Day i ever even REMOTELY celebrated.

The guy i was dating for about 2 weeks gave me a crinkled piece of paper with a poem on it that told the story of a vampire obsessed with the eyes of a woman, he tried to kill himself to remove the image that tortured his soul, but immortality won and he found himself broken and trapped for eternity in mental and physical anguish. One of the most wonderful things anyone had ever given me.

A few days later he broke up with me. He decided to come out of the closet.

I hate Valentines Day.

While I appreciate you saying that, I'll probably pass. Your birthday bash sounds enticing, but I'm afraid I probably won't be able to make it.

I'm just plain not a fan of Mephisto's. I'm working my brain around making an exception, as I'd sure like to be there for your bash. But I can't promise anything.
