Somewhat relieved. I just wrote out the checks to pay off seven medical bills. These are the last of the medical bills. Hopefully, I won't turn around and acquire more now!

I got a call from my friend last night, and he told me about something that happened to his friend.

He lives in Monroe, and he had a friend ride with him out to Hamtramck yesterday so he could take a drug test for a new job. Well he went in and she waited in the parking lot. Someone came in the waiting room talking about how someone collapsed in the parking lot and there was an ambulance, and he didn't even think anything of it. She was a healthy 23 year old, he didn't even worry it was her. So he finished up there (about another 45 minutes) and when he came out side, his truck was gone, and where his truck was, was a ton of blood. Immediately he flipped, and found out that she had been carjacked. The guy hadn't even ASKED for the vehicle. He just walked up, shot her 3 times in the head, and took the car.

She was in the hospital last night, and they didn't expect her to make it until morning. She had lost over 47% of her brain.

What the fuck is wrong with people?

This man shot her in the head for a fucking 2003 SONOMA. I know people have been shot in the head for far less, but I swear it just makes me wonder.

I know bad things happen etc etc....but I have such a hard time grasping a lot of the bad things that happen in this world.

The way things are looking, I'm going to be in the army finally by next week. With a 20,000 bonus. Just the Idea that I'll have my dept paid off, a steady schedual and steady cash, and the promise of a great new life has lifted this burdening weight off my shoulders yet also put on a different weight... cuz at the same time i'm really depressed too about having to leave some people behind here...
