On my first visit back to CC after moving back from 3-1/2 years in NC, a DGN member came up to me and told me they had been advised not to meet me in person.

WTF? Considering that before I moved to NC, the sum total of people from DGN I had met in person was maybe 4 people, 3 of which haven't actually been on DGN in years - this obviously came from someone who had never met me in person themself. Luckily, this person was wise enough to decide for themself, and found the warning unwarranted.

Similarly, I met several DGN'ers in that first few visits back to CC who admitted to me they didn't like me based on someone else's opinion/statements about me, but upon meeting me in person, were sorry they'd let someone else persuade them toward an unwarranted opinion of me.

Not everyone's gonna like you. But damned if I can understand why people take it upon themselves to spread that dislike hither and yon, through rumour or slander, instead of letting people form their own opinions based on their own experiences.

There are a lot of people I disagree with, and whom disagree with me - yet we respect each other's differences and get along just fine. There are precious few people I can think of who I actively dislike for one reason or another. But I'll be damned if I'll go around badmouthing said person(s), knowing something I have a problem with might not be an issue for someone else who might actually enjoy said person's company.

You're almost right. It's not quite high school, it's more like Jr. High. I'm so sorry you have to deal with it.

Sorry to say that is what happens at CC. Trust me, I know what you mean, not as far as having someone spreading shit about how I have an STI, but about the rumors/Highschool drama bullshit. People like to start rumors because they are bored and lead useless lives, they are not happy, and you are so they feel they must bring you down to their level. Don't let them do that to you Jen. I've had this happen recently, and someone I thought at one point in time use to be a really good friend was let some stupid bitch talk shit about me. I learned pretty quickly, by 1. Who told me what was going on, because I dont make it out to CC anymore. & 2. WHO WAS not telling me. I also learned how quickly the drama stopped as soon as I told her I would handle it when I was not pregnant , if you catch my drift.

People are going to be stupid Jen, people are always going to feel the need to talk shit, and start drama. Its going to be everywhere you go, ignore them. You know who you are, and what you dont have ... FUCK EVERYONE else who is going to talk shit without even knowing you. You don't need people/so called friends like that anyway. If people cant except you at face vaule then tell them to kiss your ass.

No rumors are spread about me. For one I guess I do not post enough on here and I rarely get to CC so I guess that's a good thing in a way. Only very few have met me and hung out with me and they aren't the kind to go around making shit up anyways. I am not popular on here.

Drama and rumors suck. I tend to stay away from shady people with issues. Guess I am a good judge of character...or just been somewhat lucky.
