I would vote for a female presidential canidate, but it would have to be anyone EXCEPT Hillary Douchebag Clinton.

So, at the moment, I cannot think of anyone of those current canidates, that I would vote for.

OMG they all suck....

Dont let that stop you or they will take away our choice. I used to not vote because i figured it was all fixed...they all suck......

And yes Hillary is not an option lol not here anyway.......I don't think anyone would be stupid enough to vote for her.

Technically Ron Paul is not Republican, he's Libertarian. Nobody's ever heard of Libertarian though and it's virtually impossible for a third party to win so he's running for the Republican bid. I'm still not sure who I'm voting for. All the Democrats suck. Pretty much all the Republicans suck too but there are a couple who aren't as bad as the others. I may very well vote Ron Paul just because I'd like to see a third party in office if only to break America from this stupid bi-partisan mindset it's fallen into. Well, that and I'm pretty much a minarchist Libertarian if web polls mean anything.

Well, I don't know. Of the current candidates I would love to see it come down to Obama vs. Romney.

Edwards is a ambulance chaser which equates to slime ball lawyer.

Clinton is more of the same... and anyone who votes for her just because she has a vagina is fucking sexist. If a man said he was voting for someone just because they were a man he would be publicly shot.

I am kinda leaning toward Romney though.

I want to see the country out of the hands of republicans. It's been long enough.

I will vote for whatever Democrat runs. And I do not feel guilty, stupid, lemming-esque, or anything at all negative about my choice, and nothing anyone - ANYONE - on this board can tell me will turn that around.

I am sick to death of the conservative agenda. I want it gone.

I don't think voting 3rd party is going to make a difference, either, in trying to force out the current 2-party system. Unless and until election reform is truly established, there isn't a chance and I believe people are waaaaaaaaaaaay too optimistic and not very realistic if "making a show" of increasing the percentage of 3rd party votes by a teensy, tiny degree every 4 years is going to lead to dissolution of the republican/democrat stranglehold on government.

If my dream came true, and an option of "none of the above" is added to the ballot, I would probably vote that rather than democrat. Because that would be, I believe, an even stronger message than voting 3rd party. If enough people gave up their party prejudicial/lesser-of-two-evils choice for the message "we think both people suck and we refuse to support them," THAT I believe would not just make ripples - but fucking tsunami waves of difference in how elections are run.

So, just like my borderline-socialist father before me, I will pull the lever for the entire democratic ticket.

And pray.

Like Phee stated and others reiterated, they all suck. I don't know who I'm voting for yet. As it is, when I start thinking about it I get a migraine. I can say that I will not vote for Hillary. I don't like her. I do hope to see a woman president in my life time, but only if she is the most qualified and best candidate for the job. As it's looking now, none of the candidates seem worthy. OW! My head... see.

Originally I was only going to vote democratic, because I wanted less conservative people in office. I don't like that Ron Paul is a Christian, but if he owns up to his promises of getting rid of the IRS and income tax, pulling out troops, getting rid of Real ID, and to keep going from there, I really don't care about his religious affiliation; the country is obsessed with religion anyways. I think it's obvious the mainstream media strongly dislikes Ron Paul, and there isn't any way he's going to be able to run except as a Republican. I really strongly dislike our political system and the current government, I find the other candidates pretty much hopeless.

People who can actually back money being shut down by the feds.

The state of the economy, the state of prisons having nothing to do with rehabilitation, the state of educational systems being more like prisons, huge franchises destroying start-up businesses and being unfair to domestic and foreign employees (Wal-Mart), police brutality rising mainly because of tazers they don't need, ethanol rising food prices, the unlawful income tax and the IRS which exists for it, Real ID, the jokes known as the CIA, Federal Reserve, and Homeland Security all pretty much upset me.

I used to vote that way too.....just str8 democrate all along the board because I believed in what it stood for, but that was before Clinton.

I feel I kinda made an uninformed choice on that one so now I will try to pay more attention and vote wisely......

Republicrats, Dempublicans, parties are useless these days, as far as values voting, goes.

Ron Paul has a consistent voting record, and you can vote for him in Michigan. Four of the Democratic candidates dropped out of the Michigan race because it got moved up to January 15. Since I am a Libertarian, Ron Paul is my choice. Remember that, folks, that on the Democratic side, you only get to vote for Hillary Clinton, Dennis Kucinich, Mike Gravel, and Chris Dodd are the only four on the ballot, right now.

The other four might be restored to the ballot by the legislature in a few days, but don't count on it.

Any ways, Ron Paul...

They are only off the ballet for the primary. The only thing the legislature can do about it is move the primary back to it's original date so that it's not breaking the Democratic partys rules and then the DNC will make Michigan's primary votes count again. Did you know that? Michigan's primary election has been voided by the DNC. You don't matter to them anymore... Why? You dared to make the choice as to when you wanted to vote. Gotta love the Democrats.

The politician work for the people. The people do not work for the politicians. At least that's the way it's supposed to work. The people who can't figure that out will never get my vote.

For me it's either Paul/Giuliani, I haven't had a whole lot of time to look into ANY of the candidates this year, too much school shit. For a rule of thumb I usually vote republican because I don't like to have to pay out the ass in taxes and I like the idea of raised military, especially in this time of uncertainty.

I don't ALWAYS rule out democrats, Clinton didn't do too bad of a job imo, but I hate goverment programs that take hard earned money from citizens and give them to programs that have a lot of loopholes that can be frauded and some that promote not getting work (i.e. welfare).

To clear this up, I do not believe people on welfare or lazy/stupid/whatever, there are a good majority of people on it who DESERVE to be on it (i.e. actually in poverty, disabled, what have you) I only state this because well...many are getting OUR "free" money and getting away with it. That's the truth, probably not even the majority, but some are. I know this first handedly, have witnessed it myself personally. I know people on SSI who are fully capable of working, they just jipped the system because they could. I know people who have PURPOSELY had children JUST for the welfare and are all proud of it (which is fucking DISGUSTING, I like Clinton b/c he helped to get rid of this ability among these people). I have seen people in front of me in lines in stores with very fancy rich clothing, styled up hair, and jewelry that I don't have...using bridge cards and/or food stamps. Something tells me they definately frauded the system. So to clarify, I mean those types of people, because all of those programs are costing tax payers millions of dollars when it should be costing less.

i dont think rudy shouldbe a top choice

Libertarianism policy is like that of a republican with the no touch on the economy standpoint it could really hurt us

and somepeople like it or not really do depend on that welfare and pretty soon

more people are going to need to be on it with the rate of forclosures and jobs lost due to lack of a housing market.. which i think will spark a depression its not in the best interest to vote for a party thats going to dismantle social services in a time where we are going to need those services the most

Kucinich's platform includes

Creating a single-payer system of universal health care that provides full coverage for all Americans by passage of the United States National Health Insurance Act.

The immediate, phased withdrawal of all U.S. forces from Iraq; replacing them with an international security force.

Guaranteed quality education for all; including free pre-kindergarten and college for all who want it.

Immediate withdrawal from the World Trade Organization (WTO) and North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

Repealing the USA PATRIOT Act.

Fostering a world of international cooperation.

Abolishing the death penalty.

Environmental renewal and clean energy.

Preventing the privatization of social security.

Providing full social security benefits at age 65.

Creating a cabinet-level "Department of Peace"

Ratifying the ABM Treaty and the Kyoto Protocol.

Introducing reforms to bring about instant-runoff voting.

Protecting a woman's right to choose while decreasing the number of abortions performed in the U.S.

Ending the War on Drugs.

Legalizing same-sex marriage.

Creating a balance between workers and corporations.

Ending the H-1B and L-1 visa Programs

Restoring rural communities and family farms.

Strengthening gun control.

lots of stuff about Kucinich

Sounds good. Great, even. But he'll never get elected. I'm too pessimistic to think he could.

I wont vote a woman into office, its just me.

That is a horribly, horribly sexist way to think. Absurd in this day and age.

Not that you'd care, 'cause you don't know me - and I'm a woman. But you just lost major points with me. I'm so disappointed.

There really is only one woman that I would never, ever vote for, and that is Hillary Rodham Clinton. However, her XX chromosomes have NOTHING to do with my stance.

Her politics and her... sense of entitlement to the candidacy offend me. I voted for Granholm, twice. Mostly because Posthumus and De Vos sucked.

The gender of a candidate really does not mean all that much to me.

How is that any worse than voting for her because she is a woman?
