SuZQZ Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 My whole body hurts from exhaustion, but everyone said the food was great, all left stuffed and satiated, so I'm happy.
Msterbeau Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 My lasagna went over well. I didn't pig out. Almost no one came and yet I still had a good time.

CandyQuackenbush Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 If I didn't enjoy my own cooking so fucking much, I'd hire someone to cook for me and Odims tonight. You'd get a cupcake.

sass_in_the_pants Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Why my husband is the best: Breastfeeding the twins didn't work out. This actually made me very, very sad. Like I cried about it. I know, I know, it's silly, but that's just how it is. So, Guy decided to buy me a present to cheer me up. What did he get me? A day at the spa? I'm sure some women go for that, but it's really not my style. Perhaps some shiny new bauble to wear? Eh, I like my jewelry the way I like my women - trashy and hanging around the dollar store - so that wouldn't have pressed my buttons either. No, he got me a bottle of Glenlivet scotch. In my opinion there is nothing a new mom needs more than a nice scotch.
SuZQZ Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Sass - I cried when I couldn't. Not silly, just hormonal. Major kudos to your hubby for getting the perfect gift
