Igniting anger in the more religious types or specific beliefs of religious sects has a long history.

Not that the "history" of anything makes it more or less drama-filled. Just have to figure out how to discuss things within a certain tolerance level and not go over the top with the insulting tones but not have it so "sanitary" that we can't speak at all. Where to draw that line? Difficult call, one that keeps us moderators awake at night and consumes a lot of hours, unpaid.

Freedom of speech isn't dead on the internet.... if one wants to be rude and incite anger with ones statements there are hundreds of thousands of sites where one can do that, this site just happens to be one where we expect people to at least try to be respectful, if that is not your thing... you have a lot of other choices

I think someone is losing out on unpaid hours doing a job that this place could go without. You just might be censoring this message board for yourself. We are all adults here, if we can't read 'grown-up words' without getting offended, we have no business discussing topics about offensive tshirts in the first place...

We don't have people pre-reading the internetz, because we are not owned by Al Gore, we're pre-reading DGN because we are owned by Troy

It's a simple concept really. To this day I'm banned from Caribou Coffee on Main St. in Royal Oak because I went in there with the wrong person (i.e. a homeless friend) and to them it was guilt by association. They called the cops...even though I went in there for coffee, and told the cops to ban me for life. Cops had no choice...it's a PRIVATE business. I didn't do anything wrong except want a latte. Sometimes that shit is called life.

The same kind of rules go for DGN...if you don't like it then you can post elsewhere. I'd hate to tell anyone that, but if you feel that strongly, then so be it.
