I don't think we're completely OFF topic, I think we're trying to get a feel for what is an "acceptable" and non-offensive type of speech/wording.

Sometimes, people are uncomfortable with the topic at hand, so we try to de-abraise the topic by steering it off topic. I think we may almost do it sub-consciously.

That tee was MEANT to be offensive, and by goodness, it did what it was intended to do, very effectively. You can't make a shirt, or wear a shirt that says something that strongly against someone's religious beliefs and think.. no one's gonna be offended by this, because you'd be terribly mistaken. I also think that if you're bold enough to wear said shirt, you should be ready for the shit-storm that will befall you by wearing it, legally.

All in all, it lacks class and sense. Some of us, could care less, I know.

Yes, A dry ooze... would be like that really really thick snot you get when you sick... it flows and stuff.. but you would not really call it moist... then there is the moist snot that runs down your face in cold weather and you don;t realize it;s there until you about 5mi into a conversation with someone else and you notice they keep staring at your upper lip.

I noticed...Michigan loves Jesus an awful lot. I mean, anywhere you go, you have religion and all, but it seems severe here...to me anyway. I was born and raised in NYC and people aren't like this there.

If someone in NY wore that shirt, the most they would get is looks. (unless they were in a church or something). Thats it.

The Goldcoast is in Australia. Thats not even close to Michigan. Its not even part of the same country.

I remember when I worked at the county free clinic years ago, we had an exam room put out of commission for a whole day of intensive disinfecting when *severe grossness warning*....

this lady came in to have a tampon removed... it had been in situ for a year. No one could stand to be in the exam room with her for more than a few minutes. The doc would fish around for a bit, then go outside to breathe while a nurse gave it a shot. As I recall it took about a half hour of this before the thing was retrieved. They had to wash down every surface in the room with bleach solution and air it out for a full morning before it was usable again.
