All Mexicans are Native Americans, Anyone who's origin is from North, Central, or South America, from Alaska to Argentina is a Native American. Mayan, Incan, Taino descent= Native American. Inuit, Alyuet, Tlingit = Native American. Anyone from South and Central American countries such as Chile, Nicaragua, Honduras, Paraguay, Brazil, Puerto Rico, who trace lineage to the indigenous people of said regions are also Native Americans.

This of course is why there is such a disagreement about keeping Native Americans out of Native America IE: Immigration policies.

Yeah this is off the original topic a bit, but I thought I'd help to inform people about what "Native American" encompasses.

As for the bloke in the video, he could have just answered the question and made things easier, but occasionally, it's good to keep people in check.

Are you forgetting the Spanish blood in them? You are also not considering thier own views. They don;t consider them selves native Americans. They consider themselves Mexicans. They also consider the South Western United States to be part of Mexico.

You can try to make this about it being native lands all you want... but thats not the case they are trying to make... thats not what the activists groups are saying... thats not what the various political groups are saying and thats not what the Mexican government says.

Yup. I've also found a few more articles that seem to suggest that another reason why people in that town are pissed, is that the area uses a lot of illegal labor for farming and lumber industry jobs. People aren't being stopped for no reason, here.
