GothicRavenGoddess (3) Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 aww, sweetie.. I'm so sorry to hear this... *sends lots of loving energies your way* I hope that everything works out in the end...
pomba gira Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 So sorry to hear this... the blessing is that you have time to say your farewells and for the family to gather around her. I have to agree with Torn about the chemo... usually in cases that advanced they do only what will improve quality of life... but of course it is her decision.
~Tszura~ Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 ***Big Hugs*** My deepest sympathies to you, Lila. Please know that your DGN family is always here for you whenever you need. ~Peace and Light~
Troy Spiral (13) Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I don't want to give you any false hope but they gave my grandfather 3 months and he lived for another 6 years. Eventually dying not of the cancer but of a heart attack. There is always hope. But either way. *massive comfort snuggles* Its painful believe I've been there. No one call tell you they have been in your exact situation, because they haven't but some of us can offer lets call it "informed empathy".
Nienna Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I'm in a (less dire but equally distressing) situation with my own mom. *hugs* Try to make the most of your time with her.
punk_princess Posted March 10, 2009 Author Posted March 10, 2009 Im having a rough time dealing with this.
punk_princess Posted March 12, 2009 Author Posted March 12, 2009 I'm really hoping that I can find a ride to CC this saturday so I can take my mind off of this for a bit & have a lil fun.
SuZQZ Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 I am so sorry to read about your mom. Know that there are many of us who have recently been through a similar situation and can empathize with every emotion and the stress of dealing with something like this. We are all here for you in whatever way you need us.
punk_princess Posted March 16, 2009 Author Posted March 16, 2009 I will be losing my mother sometime today. I can't believe it. She was one of my best friends. I'm so depressed.
Brenda Starrr Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 I will be losing my mother sometime today. I can't believe it. She was one of my best friends.I'm so depressed. I'm so sorry to see this. Just do yourself (and her) a HUGE favor and take good care of yourself. All the partying in the world is NOT going to make it better. Trust me. Start being healthy for YOUR daughter's sake. If you need us, just holler.
Bernadette Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 I agree, take care of yourself. Let yourself grieve. It will get better, SLOWLY.
