I'm so sorry you have lost your mother, dear heart.

I've passed by this thread many times-- not out of apathy, but because I know there is nothing I can say, or do, to make things right. Often, a sense of futility, and a lack of the correct words to say, will keep me from speaking up. My personal guilt, however, has been eating away at me for not piping up sooner-- and I could not let you go on wondering if I gave a shit or not.
