you know i was thinking more about this... and all the people i have dated or liked. and none of them are like each other. not even similar in looks. other than a great majority of them have green eyes or hazel. which is weird to me. one had blue eyes. and none of them had brown eyes that i can recall. maybe one... but he didnt count.

ok here goes. My list of what I want in the perfect mate.

1. He has to have long hair. I love long hair on a guy. Just something primitive about a man with long hair.

2. I love a guy that dresses like a Victorian Vampire. ooooo yummy.

3. He has to remember that I'm going to be me whether he wants me to be or not.

4. I have friends and I will talk to them. I hope that he will understand that.

5. If he expects me to support him in his endevours, then he must support me in mine.

6. He must be kind and considerate of others.

7. He must like to have fun once in a while.

8. He must have a JOB.

9. He must want kids eventually cause that is something that I will not take no for an answer with.

10. He must be romantic. Not too romantic but just romantic enough.

11. I'm a tomboy. There will be times that I won't be perfectly a lady. He must be able to deal with that.

12. I'm tight with my mother. He must deal with that too.

That's all I can think of at the moment. I'll edit when my head is a little more together.

so I started this thread and apparently (no one else is to use that word btw) I made a list and edited it.

My list sucked, it must have, because it was before I knew MsMalador existed. She would have made my list look pathetic and wothless.

I never knew someone like her existed before now. Someone who is incredibly kind and compassionate and has done so many nice things for me without asking for anything in return. I didn't know someone was this smart and articulate. I didn't know someone would look that cute when she wakes up in the morning and her hair is all messed up. I never knew I could be this physically attracted to someone, to where I have to look away sometimes because her eyes are too intense. My perfect mate is Tracy and I wouldn't change a single thing about her. She is far more than I deserve. I frustrate her sometimes but I hope she knows I don't mean to and I am working on ways to not make it happen again.

I dont think i really have a perfect mate. I just want someone who can hold my attention for more then an hour, have some likes the same as mine, someone who understands my sarcastic nature without taking offense... Oh and i have to be physically attracted to them, or it just wont work.

Looks are generally unimportant. Honestly, I have found a man physically unattractive one week and handsome the next (and vice versa). But I do generally prefer men to be taller and stronger than me.

He is powerful, perhaps dominant but not too demanding/disrespectful. He is loving and supportive. He is a provider and will fight for the strength of his family. He is christian. He likes to have a good time, likes to play, and doesn't take himself too seriously. He knows that I am beautiful. He is inteligent (perhaps more than I) and I can talk to him and feel the same. He inspires me to be better than I am.
