Upon re-reading this thread... I now see why Gaf has decided to defend Rush with such passion, they are a lot more alike then I first assessed when I began discussing this topic.

We are getting into theology.... But I hardly think that Rush can determine whether or not my life has meaning.... any more then Obama can tell you what foods you enjoy.

And as far as global warming and God.... well this is what makes it a disagreement... I am not sure that all people who believe in a God that created everything would agree with that generalization
