this sad/happy feeling i get right around this time every year that i have lived in this house (4 years this june)

the seniors from the highschool drive up and down the streets, honking, their cars decorated.

me and my girls run to the door to watch them all drive by.

i don't know why but by the time the 3rd car comes i am either crying or teared up. it's the strangest feeling.

i was sitting here, eating. completely happy today and then this... it gets me every time. they are already long past driving down my street and i am still fighting the urge to cry.
