Like I feel almost giddy getting sh&^ off my chest.

Anxious and excited about tomorrow.

(ask me anything about the Iowa caucuses--<crickets chirping>)

Tomorrow, the safe candidate all the Dems put their faith in,

and the Repub's licked their chops to tear apart,

like crows on a fresh deer carcass during hunting season,

Hillary Clinton,

will go down in flames and Obama will have a decisive victory.

On the GOP side, Huckabee will edge out Romney,

as the slick Mormon falls by the wayside,

and there's so much to love but also chew up and spit out about the former AR governor

(ex. He's a hardcore creationist)

setting us up for a Dem victory in November!

Of course there's still 11 months for the Donkeys to snatch defeat from the hands of victory,

but one can dream, right?

I'm really really missing BW roght now, and I've still got to go grocery shopping and finish work here. Ugh!

omfg....obama won?

fuckkkkkkkkk.....

I feel like America is now going to hell in a handbasket, Clinton was definately the lesser of two evils.

But at least that Romney mormon isn't going to be in, I kinda like that Huckabee guy.

If Obama wins, you'll see my ass disappear outta this country asap...

<H1 class=Headline>Huckabee Wants Women To Be Submissive </H1><H2 class=SubHead>Candidate: Take Nation 'Back For Christ'</H2>

POSTED: 8:41 am PST December 31, 2007UPDATED: 10:15 am PST December 31, 2007

storytools_newsvine.gifstorytools_delicious.gifstorytools_digg.gifstorytools_facebook.gifstorytools_reddit.gifstorytools_rss.gifstorytools_print.gifstorytools_email.gifDES MOINES, Iowa -- Mike Huckabee, a Republican relying on support from religious conservatives in Thursday's hard-fought presidential caucuses, on Sunday stood by a decade-old comment in which he said, "I hope we answer the alarm clock and take this nation back for Christ."

He gave the speech the same year he endorsed the Baptist convention's statement of beliefs on marriage that "a wife is to submit graciously to the servant leadership of her husband even as the church willingly submits to the headship of Christ." Huckabee and his wife, Janet, signed a full-page ad in USA Today in support of the statement with 129 other evangelical leaders.

The former governor, who rallied Christian evangelicals to make him a surprise force in Iowa, has put his faith front and center in his campaign. His stump speech sounds like a pastor's pitch from a pulpit. Campaign ads emphasize faith and call him a Christian leader. He frequently quotes Bible verses.

Weazy you got it wrong. Huckabee is a baptist. I hope you plan on a life of being submissive to Raven. They are more restricitve than Mormons.

You know me though I am a Christian, I am a firm believer of antidisestablishmentarianism. I don't want anyone shoving their religious views down the countries.

The founding fathers firmly believed in separation of church and state too. Any references to God in government documents was made to "stick it" to the king to show that there is a higher authority that they were going to answer to and it was not the king (or anyother possible dictator).

However, I personally believe Obama is closer to an honest person than is Clinton.

So far I vote for none of the above.

Time to pencil in Micky Mouse.

NORMALLY I would press the "reply" or "quote" button, but since DGN is glitching like I've never seen it glitch before, this is in response to Boshy's post:

Hey mom, feel like moving to Canada? We can even go to Australia  Nobody cares to fuck with Austrailia.

Oh...and ten points for using the longest word in the english language.

I feel like somebody does not understand the notion of biblical submission and is railing against the wrong thing.

I feel that people who get up in arms about wives submitting to their husbands as the alleged biblical model often fail to insert scripture about husbands submitting to their wives, and fathers not frustrating their children, and thus get bent at something wayyyyyyyyyyy out of context.

I feel that the people will choose their leader, and if they choose one who is fundamentally grounded in christianity, so be it, nobody's going to lead us into another inquisition and relax allready, thats virtually impossible.

I also feel that "enforcing" (right - nobody enforces jack - on either side) secular humanism or blatant PC'ism or evolutionism is the exact same animal so get off it allready. we villify that which we disagree with but that does not make it true villany, it just makes it impassioned frustration.

I feel that the founding father's vision of seperationof church and state was made to protect the church from the state, not the other way around, and that is why they left Europe in the first place and that we like to re-write history to suit our needs but that does not make it truthful.

I feel as if "sticking it to the king" is convenient, but also alludes to the fact that they did indeed beleive in answering to a higher authority, as does Mr Huckabee, and so fucking what allready?

I beleive that Huckabee's refusal to yeild is refreshing and I tend to admire it.

oh, I also feel that nobody is going to leave the country, not Chernobyl, not Dark metallion, not anybody, as that shit's expensive and nobody wants dirty americans invading their backyards.

I don't know Steven, as Christian as I am I would never vote for someone who says this line:

"I hope we answer the alarm clock and take this nation back for Christ."

I don't believe ANY ideas about anything that we can't prove ourselves should ever be represented by someone in a political office in this country, I'm huge on separation of church and state. It doesn't just go for Christianity, I'm talking atheists, agnostics, buddhists, taoists, muslims, jewish people, etc. Any faith that has to do with answering the question: "Where do we go when we die?" has no place in politics. I get what you're getting at, but that quote from Huckabee was too representative of Christianity, and I'm sick of the religion getting a bad rap from people shoving it down other people's throats so the last thing we need is a overtly religious republican imo. I believe people's faith are always their own business and shouldn't ever be spoken about or pushed on other people, unless those people are asking and curious, and especially not by someone in a public office. Pushing religious beliefs never convinces anyone (not most Americans anyway) and usually just pisses them off and makes them resent/hate that said religion even more.

The words "take back for Christ" sound a bit too forceful and suggestive to me and has no place in the American political system. I don't care if the nation was founded on Christianity, it's time for that all to change. I don't even care if a political person IS Christian (or of any other faith/belief), that's great, that's wonderful, don't shove it down my throat is all, or anyone else's for that matter.

Sooo....that's what I'm feelin'.

As long as they recognize I would never kiss their boyfriends and extend me the same courtesy.

I also feel like I need to go edit a post.

Me, too. I really indulged this year. My clothes are snug, and not in the good way.

It's funny to me because my friends are starting to catch on and be like "Dude, why do you alternate between the same two pairs of pants? I thought you had a good sized wardrobe..." Only to explain to them that they're the only two pairs I have left that I can actually fit over my ass

I think a DGN Jogging club is in order, I've seen so many people post that their resolution this year is to lose weight, what better way than together?
