bean Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Like no matter what I say the words arn't heard. What'd you say? I didn't hear you...
hunhee Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Steven, Cher, and KBK, I moved those few things on Revelations to Bible Study http://www.detroitgothic.net/t19481.html So that you can fully discuss that in the correct topic... and now I feel good that I actually moved those correctly
boshy Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I don't know Steven, as Christian as I am I would never vote for someone who says this line: "I hope we answer the alarm clock and take this nation back for Christ." I don't believe ANY ideas about anything that we can't prove ourselves should ever be represented by someone in a political office in this country, I'm huge on separation of church and state. It doesn't just go for Christianity, I'm talking atheists, agnostics, buddhists, taoists, muslims, jewish people, etc. Any faith that has to do with answering the question: "Where do we go when we die?" has no place in politics. I get what you're getting at, but that quote from Huckabee was too representative of Christianity, and I'm sick of the religion getting a bad rap from people shoving it down other people's throats so the last thing we need is a overtly religious republican imo. I believe people's faith are always their own business and shouldn't ever be spoken about or pushed on other people, unless those people are asking and curious, and especially not by someone in a public office. Pushing religious beliefs never convinces anyone (not most Americans anyway) and usually just pisses them off and makes them resent/hate that said religion even more. The words "take back for Christ" sound a bit too forceful and suggestive to me and has no place in the American political system. I don't care if the nation was founded on Christianity, it's time for that all to change. I don't even care if a political person IS Christian (or of any other faith/belief), that's great, that's wonderful, don't shove it down my throat is all, or anyone else's for that matter. Sooo....that's what I'm feelin'. You go girl! I <3 u

Msterbeau Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I feel chipper and saucy. Like a buffalo sauce kind of saucy, not something like soy sauce kind of saucy. That's pretty saucy there... I'm feeling like time is going WAY too slowly.
the eternal Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 *sniffles* If she's in this much pain, and they say nothing's wrong with her, they're freaking looney!!! *hugs* bean :( AND you two are so cute..hehe I feel happy for you both I suppose a benign ovarian cyst isn't nothing, but it was treatable, and it sure is a helluva whole lot better than a miscarriage. (F%$# you WebMD!) The important thing is she's going to be okay. Thanks for your concern. BTW, Bean and I are keeping score of all the people that say we're a cute couple. You will each be sent a copy of our bridal registry next summer.
saechalyn Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I went to the chiropractor and it was the best thing I could have done for my body. It is amazing how much better I feel and how many things were wonky. I was fucked up and I didn't even know it. I NEED my new glasses. I can't concentrate on work because I get headaches. This is bad because I am getting more and more behind. They need to come in soon. I have a stupid sinus thing that refuses to go away. I'm really hoping it clears up without antibiotics because a) I really cannot afford time away from work and b) even my stupid copay is more than I care to spend right now.
bean Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I suppose a benign ovarian cyst isn't nothing, but it was treatable, and it sure is a helluva whole lot better than a miscarriage. (F%$# you WebMD!) Actually, from my symptoms, the doctor thought I was having a miscarriage and thought I was lying when I told her that I take my birth control every damn day and have never missed a dose. Then the pregnancy test came back negative..and I said "see, there's no way I'm pregnant." My woman parts are just all fucked up. Anyway, I'm feeling like this TMI fest has been brought to you by the eternal and extended by me
Burrich1 Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Like my brain doesn't work. I've had to edit every post I've made today.
