Heartbreakingly worried and scared for someone almost to the point of feeling ill.

Loved and yet lonely.

Melancholy in that way that you get when you see people and do something that you love but that isn't what it once was, so matter how much fun you have it always sits in the shadow of a time that is dead beyond resurrection, so that even while your heart is so full with happiness, you still are looking behind you. Than you go home and... yeah.
