Exactly ... which is not the case. Hence why I made the point of falsly lableing it that .. people would be wrong to label anyone rasict for not liking the "homie G" culture... but they do it anyway ... :doh Its not right but it happens.

You are correct. Many older black people don't like what the "homie g" youth are doing. There is a black radio host on WDFn 1130 Am named Eric Pete, he was bashing hip hop today, saying it was sexist, degrading and he said he told his daughter to stay away from guys with rims on their cars. He said nothing about race.

If a white radio host said he told his daughters to stay away from guys with rims on their cars it would probably cause a controversy.

I am not saying either of them are right or wrong, I am saying this is a very interesting topic and it's hard to pinpoint any definition for anything we are talking about.

I am not saying either of them are right or wrong, I am saying this is a very interesting topic and it's hard to pinpoint any definition for anything we are talking about.

Thats very true because so many ppl have a different idea of where these boundries are ... Deffentions from a dictionary dont suit everyone. Everyone has a different idea of what rasict is and isn't ....

What may horribly offend me .. may be acceptable for someone else. Ted your right its so hard to pinpoint because it means so many different things on so many different levels.

I don't know how many times I've beat this point to death on this board.

For the record, I am definitely not racist, by any definition.

I can be human and admit to moments of prejudice due directly to things I have seen and experienced. But I try to shake those moments off and approach each person with no prejudgment.

This has been a struggle for me throughout life, coming from POLISH parents who grew up in Detroit and saw their neighborhoods decline after the riots. The n-word was thrown around freely in our household.

As I've gotten older and more authoritative with my parents, I've been able to actually have some influence over them in this area, for the better. When my mother slips like she did the other day at a garage sale I was having at her house, and said of a customer who was trying to get a good deal out of me, "did he try to Jew you down?" I respond with something like, "He tried to GET A GOOD DEAL out of me, yes, mother." She accepts the gentle yet firm reprimands well, and I do think it's having some positive effect on her.

I find it so funny when Polish people like them, who complain about having been referred to and treated like "Dumb Polacks" can turn around and dish it out to someone else.

Guess everybody... well, LOTS of people - need to find a way to put themselves in a position of superiority one way or another. Sad, really.

That's just as bad as discrimination. You didn't ask to be in a wheelchair. You just are. Just as others from different races didn't ask to be there, either. My son gets discriminated against at times, as he's a high-functioning autistic child. Pisses me off.

I honestly dont see how thats possible...we are ALL evolved from adam and eve...they were the first to walk the earth...they'd have to be all races combined into 2 people...they couldnt have been caucasion,african american, asin etc etc...It's like trying debate Jesus being african american...or scientifically prooving what came first, the chicken or the egg...In order to scientifically proove what race adam and eve were they would have to go through eons of family trees...and dna...

You don't need family trees, just a large enough sampling of human dna. The scientific community has identified the genetic code that determines skin color/race/breed what have you so if that particular structure is present in remains then they can extrapolate the relevant data.

BTW the egg came before the chicken. That question was originally created to determine whether a person believed in evolution or seven day creationism.

Fortunately there are people that can reconcile both by humbly excepting the fact that they can not fathom how a god/goddess would perceive time.

actually....I lost it because he was a better singer than I was, and I'm pretty damn good too, but I heard his stuff - he really was better in that format.
