She told her daughter 'Don't have sex before marriage'. Her daughter didn't listen and she got pregnant. In sex-ed classes, they teach students 'if you are going to have sex, use a condom'. Some girls don't listen, and get pregnant.

How does that make anyone a hypocrite?

As for her daughter getting pregeant, who fucking cares, I mean seriously at least she's taking responsibility for her actions instead of being a shitty mom. Shit her and the father are getting married, so in my eyes even though she made a mistake and didn't use protection, she's showing her maturity and owning up to what happend. And just let me say even though politically Palin hasn't kept tabs on the war doesn't mean she hasn't personally.

...ok... not hypocrite... "not a wise parent", the way I see the situation... you can say don't do this, but, teens are often rebellious to a fault. A wise parent would know this. A wise parent does not try to make a clone of themselves, but to prepare a new person to CHOOSE for themselves... regardless of their personal beliefs.

To answer the next possible question, YES, showing proper decision making while running a household, does show a glimpse of what style a person will take up when running a body politic.

I see this an example of:

Authoritarian:

1 : of, relating to, or favoring blind submission to authority <had authoritarian parents>

2 : of, relating to, or favoring a concentration of power in a leader or an elite not constitutionally responsible to the people <an authoritarian regime>

What's more, in these situations there is often allot of misinformation, & hiding behind a wall of "BECAUSE I SAID SO".

That is the worst thing you could dig up on someone, as far as I can see. That is not what I want running the country. Thank G*D & MY Ancestors that I get to raise my hand on November 4th.

Do you know how many parents don't tell their kids about contraceptives and the majority of the time it has nothing to do with religion. It's because parents are ignorant to the fact their kids are growing up, or they just don't know how to talk about sex with their kids. And in 2008 a teenager doesn't need to hear it from their parents on where to get condoms or the pill since it's talked about among their peers as well as being adveritised by planned parenthood and shit. I did not "put it on Palin" (ew).

I sincerely doubt that Palin ever said the word condom in a conversation with her daughter.
