Straight from the mouth of Christ. You can make the Bible prove anything if you take passages out of context. Heck, you can make any quote from anywhere prove anything if you take it out of context.

Christ also said: If you must carry a sword; then carry two.

He did not mean 2 pieces of steel... he meant a SWORD.. as in a sharp mind; that bends, instead of breaks.

All this talk about Sarah Palin not giving her daughter enough information about safe sex makes me wonder...

if it IS true that Rielle Hunter's child is John Edwards I wonder if anyone will deride him for not following his safe sex approach.

I would think Mr. Edwards would know better...

Does it matter? He was having an affair while his wife was dieing of Cancer... and he was using that cancer for sympathy votes in the Primarys... He should be tar'd and featherd.

Mr. Edwards is not on the presidential ticket.

We should probably focus on the candidates that are....

Media bias is a matter of opinion.

What is not a matter of opinion is that we have two very well qualified candidates running for president. They & their running mates are much more crucial to the discussion at hand than others in either party.

So, did anyone see the Sarah Bikini pic? It's a photoshop job, her head on someone elses body. I bring it up for humor. I laughed so hard I allmost wet my pants... I had read on a few left wing blogs about the pic. I then went out and read some major news sites that had already debunked the photo as a fake... but all of them described the gun as an AK-47 or an assualt rifle. Then I looked for the pic, when I found the laughter started. Thats no AK-47 or assualt rifle. Infact, it's not even a real gun. It's a pellet gun. The kind you pump up and fire lead pellets out of. You might be able to kill a small bird with it. After you pump it 10 times to get enough air pressure and hand load a pellet into it.

The media is quick to use those terms to instill fear to push an anti-gun agenda. The two mall shootings that have occurred in the past few years, the media stated that the perpetrators used AK-47s when in fact they didn't. I can't remember what the exact guns were, and they are cousins to the AKs, but different guns. It's like the M-4, the M-16, and the AR-15; similar yet very very different. In fact, of the latter list, only one is legally ownable by citizens.

Furthermore, the term "assault rifle" is a media term. WTF is an assault rifle? In the gun world, that term doesn't exist. No one even used those words until the media made them up to villainize guns. Basically, any semi-automatic rifle that is black classifies as an assault rifle, notable exceptions are Kalishnakovs with wood stocks. So that .223 magazine fed squirrel gun, if it's camo then it's okay, but if it's made out of black polymer, *gasp* it's an assault rifle. Don't touch it; it will turn you evil and make you want to kill everything in sight!

I was gonna post it... saw that it was fake.... was still gonna post it for fun. Got distracted....

      I'm thinking I'm going to be moving to AZ, soon! Can't wait! I friggin' love it here! The heat doesn't bother me at all and the best part? NO SNOW!!! (S.N.O.W. - Shit  No One Wants)   Been staying in Bullhead City where the kids and grandkids live. Next, we're going to the wife's cousin's which is a ways North of Kingman, in the middle of nowhere, where we actually plan to move.   I really like Bullhead. It's a nice little town. Not overcrowded like Colorado Springs has become, at all. Very light traffic, reasonable prices on everything, low taxes, etc. The river offers a lot to do, with a lot of beaches and campgrounds all around it.   But yeah even though we've been over 110º-115º F just about every day,  I can handle it!  What I can't handle anymore, is snow and being cold. Just tired of it. Give me the desert over a blizzard any day!

      Nope, we wasn't doing anything. I didn't want to go by myself.  I ended up doing karaoke here. It would of been a perfect day to go, though.
