Head Wreck Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 the only pain of a SLDR is the Seriously Long Distance.
n0Mad Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 But finding anyone like that is scarce in my neck of the woods. You could always move to the UK with your dad. But we'd miss you here.
Nienna Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 *sigh* I had 3 dates with someone that was about 70% into... and then he told me he wasn't into me. I hate dating! Now I'm afraid to try again. They're all such assholes!

taysteewonderbunny Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 that's not being an asshole, that's being honest, i'd personally prefer that... Mee too. It still hurts, though. But, when do you want your lumps? Now..........or later after much more investment?
Nienna Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 that's not being an asshole, that's being honest, i'd personally prefer that... Mee too. It still hurts, though. But, when do you want your lumps? Now..........or later after much more investment? You're both right... But it just reminds me that it's easire to close myself off and just not take any risks anymore.
taysteewonderbunny Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 You're both right... But it just reminds me that it's easire to close myself off and just not take any risks anymore. Oh sure. Take the path of least resistance because nobody regrets living their lives in isolation successfully meeting the low expectations they have for themselves and the universe. Nope, not ever. Those people is happy.

pomba gira Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Sorry to hear that. Dating is indeed a pain. You know I've never really done the "dating" thing... when I was younger I just kind of tended to end up w/people from whatever scene I was in at the time... & next thing I knew we'd be living together. Happened that way w/both hubbies. Now, I met Tokagemaru thru Yahoo Personals but I kind'a got lucky the first time. I must say, the whole dating business sounds like a colossal pain in the wazoo for a very low percentage of successful return. I pray I never have to resort to it.
SuZQZ Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 yeah, i get it... Beautiful BTW. Absolutely agree with Nienna. Just beautiful.
