Msterbeau Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 I will be wearing a sign around my neck at the VegFest... "single and available" One can only hope.... Aren't you the one that determines if your single and available? You don't have to hope.... :-P
candyman Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 nobody wants the one who looks good on paper - they want excitement, chemistry... Ahh...I have neither...at least not that I know of...ever since the mohawk left my head I started getting nothing. Maybe this beard I cam growing and my soon to be dreadlocks will help...
coed_doll Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 what is vegfest? VegFest used to be called the Great American Meatout. It is put on by VegMichigan to promote vegetarian and vegan lifestyles. It is this Sunday at Ferndale High School...I think it is 10 bucks to get in...free to members....tons of free food...John Salley, formerly of the Pistons, will be the keynote speaker. He is vegan. If anyone wants more specific info, PM me.

Shade Everdark Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 That's my nickname. Usually people call me Captain Obvious. While I get to be Captain Oblivious. ...we make a pair. I just hope that pair isn't like Tweedledum and Tweedledee.

StormKnight (1) Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 *now has a mental image of Marc and Chris dressed as crime fighters ala Batman and Robin* Oh please dear gods...not the Schumacher outfits with nipples on them *shudders*
Vampyrerin Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 (edited) *nods* People also need to take it slow and allow a real relationship to develop, rather than cling to the first person who shows them attention for more than 5 minutes. The people who announce after having known someone for only a few days that he or she is their new boyfriend or girlfriend drive me nuts. Especially since those people seem to average about 2.5 "boyfriends" or "girlfriends" per month. The ones more annoying than dating after knowing each other for a minute are the ones 'getting married' after 2 months of knowing and dating each other. I lost count of how my 'finances' my one friend has had. le sigh. Edited April 30, 2009 by Vampyrerin

That would be my average, if fortune smiles upon me, a year.

I lost count of how my 'finances' my one friend has had. le sigh. *nods* Or when people in the same breath say "This is my new boyfriend/girlfriend. I'm moving in with them next week." I realize that the economy is awful, and it's good to try to save money on living expenses, but every situation I've seen where the couple moved in together after having only dated a month or two ended in a huge drama bomb.
