Like I just washed the kitchen floor.

Posted

EXTREMELY irritated at how absolutley immature and trite people can be. I just want to scream... "GET OVER YOURSELF".

... I'm also feeling thoughtful... sometimes to much thinking is not good.

Posted

Like I just did some de-stressing stretches. Now my body feels uber better.

Posted

Alone.

Posted

Tired from work

Tired,

Worried

Saddened

I feel that I do not like the wind I hear outside.

I feel that I best go start my jeep now, so that it's nice and warm for me.

Posted

like the flu that killed Elvis is now slowly killing me....(cough cough sneeze)

nervous/worried

Like its fucking cold outside!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

I feel that Diet Mtn Dew is not as good as the regular dew. I feel good cuz I bought a lottery ticket and won $40.

Spoken for gospel, if you need the caffeine, pick another diet pop.

Lottery winnings--

:peanutbutterjellytime:

Pick up the new Mars Volta for me while you're out, k?

like I should be a millionaire!

ABSOLUTELY!

He's a millionaire----

Why not you??

As for me, I must be depressed, because I'm on here right now.

This morning I had the three human focal points of my life give me sh&^ within an hour of each other.

I FEEL LIKE I WILL NEVER BE ENOUGH FOR ANYONE :no

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I also don't feel like posting in a whole bunch of threads.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SO, here goes, the whole board's responses in one post

-------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------

Now Listening to--Iron and Wine's 2nd CD--- Our Endless Numbered Days

It is so beautiful! If you dig, Nick Drake, Sebadoh, Elliott Smith, you'll probably like this.

Mellow but very emotive.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I feel like Guiliani and Edwards just dropped out of the race,

and now it's VERY likely that, after all the disarray and infighting,

the Republicans have a front runner,

and the two remaining Democrats are still embroiled in a stupid-- Experienced Girl vs Idealistic Black man --- debate,

as opposed to the issues.

Which means ONCE AGAIN, we'll probably have a Republican, conservative, pro-war, pro-life, pro-business president.

I feel like thanking everyone for enjoying my fashion violations quote, and putting me in funny DGNers thread,

since me talking about fashion,

is like Pat Robertson talking about his favorite crunk star

pat_robertson_blowout-thumb.jpg

Lil-Jon-Crunk-Juice-Poster-C12185962.jpe

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Like thanking Odims for recommending to go see Rambo.

I went to the DIA with Bean where they're only showing one film, and said

"Two for rambo"

--"Excuse Me" --

"Two For Rambo"

--"I Beg your pardon" (in a condescending fashion)---

"Ohhh, no Rambo here. Um, two for Persepolis"

He kept staring at me through his pseudo-intellectual spectacles as we walked into the theatre.

I assume we were the only DGNers there, unless any of you are

middle-aged,

yuppified.

ex-hippie,

culture snobs,

who finished the evening by dipping into the local Martini bar for a nightcap of Grand Marnier

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And now that we're on the subject--

F$%# Cloverfield--See Persepolis!!!!!

(esp LuluVox, so you can tell us how it compares to the book version--I was thinking of hitting the library for it)

MORE from the Cloverfield thread--

Saechalyn(and others)--DONT give up and turn off a movie after 20 minutes.

A TON of my favorite movies take a good 30-40 minutes to warm up.

Hell, I've seen existential Iranian dramas that spend 20 mins on a tracking shot.

---------------------------------------------------------

ALSO, Troy/Hunhee---

When I'm move to Royal Oak, we're hitting the art houses together!

I too am a super detail-oriented analytic that is somehow also okay with movies that don't make the most sense.

---------------------------------------------------------

That said...

I ALSO feeling like I need to shout out about a movie that had literally no ending

(which is odd that I feel like shouting,

since I feel depressed,

and am listening to a southern country-folk artist who's halfway to a coma

--honestly that's a good thing--CLICK HERE)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MY SHOUT--

Hey self-important critics

--No Country For Old Men was a very good movie--NOT the g-ddamn second coming.

And guess what----the Coen Bros technique of stopping the videotape after an old man muses about society,

while eating his cheerios,

is NOT the greatest movie finale of all time.

It's barely an ending at all!

(If you were wondering what one of the best finales IS,

that would be the last five minutes of the Argento thriller Tenebrae,

where you can still hear the woman's blood-curdling scream while the credits are rolling)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And while we're on the subject of the Second Coming, thank you to Troy for saying, in a more astute fashion,

what I wanted to say in the LEFT BEHIND book thread.

Yes, Left Behind is JUST a book,

(and a video game, and a movie, and at this point a whole f&^%in movement!!)

just like Triumph of the Will was JUST a movie

and I Have a Dream was JUST a speech.

If things are crafted to move people in a certain way,

and has an ever-growing legion of devoted followers,

and has worldwide impact,

and has Christian Conservative ideologues telling their flocks they MUST read it,

it's a little hard to say

"Oh, it made millions of people feel that way, I had no idea!

I mean, it was JUST a book"

Yeah, right.

One more thing:

F%$k Kirk Cameron.

kirk-cameron-sm.jpg

F*&k his gun-toting, bible-beating, end-of-the-movie-Rabbi-"repenting"-for-following-the-words-that have-been-around-for-over-5000-years.

F&^k him in his Izod alligator-wearing, ears.

--------------------------------------

There! I feel a little better.

I hope everyone else feels much better soon.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just as an FYI though,

No matter how things go today,

When you get up tomorrow,

people will still be the same--

lying,

cheating,

self-serving assh*&^s they were today.

There will STILL be absolutely no correlation between intelligence and financial success, AND,

No matter how many friendsters you collect,

when the chips are down,

the only people you can depend on

are the same ones you depended on five years ago,

and are also the same ones that'll be there for you five years from now.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That's how I feel right now.
