My main problem has been the fact that I am 54 now and most women my age or close to it are either taken or married, and those who aren't don't want a middle aged hippified goth loving musician. They all want successful, independently wealthy guys freshly divorced with boats and cars, etc. etc. I dont know...maybe its just my perception, maybe its the fact also that I have been divorced now for almost 18 years, and don't really have much of a social life that doesnt revolve around me playing or performing somewhere. I have been out of the dating loop for so long, I forgot how to get back into it.

Plus, I am painfully shy when it comes to hot babes. I can get up on a stage and sing and play for 2000 people without a sweat, but put a lovely lass in front of me and its like my brain switches off and I become instant idiot.

I have met and gotten very close to a few ladies online, but they are usually 1000 miles away or more.. which really doesnt make much sense... but then who says love is supposed to make sense. Oh well, if it is meant to be it will be.
